To make this accurate, you have to take into account the size of your computer screen, the exact distance you are sitting or standing from the screen, the screen's contrast, and several other variables that may be difficult to control.

I didnt read the description so I had my tablet right in front of me and was reading with both eyes the whole time 😂
You should also mention the size of the screen and the distance away from the screen for accuracy.
If I throw away my glasses everything is burry.
If I trow away my contact lenses I'll be blind

I was waiting for a "jump scare" at the last series of letters. I even turned my volume down just in case. You never know ;-)
Why has no-one mentioned how far you have to be from the the distance of the screen and the the screen size.

Wow, I hope contacts or glasses work for you. The first set of numbers should be no problem. I'm 33 and got %100 on the whole test from 9 feet away (no glasses). I hope my vision stays good forever :(

From 10ft away as it states in the description I got all the lines right except for the last 3. I’m proud!
I got them all right away on my incredibly dark phone screen. I believe my eye sight is fairly good.

this type of test has to be taken with a poster version of the test, its to many inconsistencies for accurate judgement viewing this from a device.
The last line I could read was 20/25

You're all complaining about not getting past 9 but my vision is so shitty I can't even read 2 and barely make what ever the fuck the first letter is.
I could only read up to 8 when I didn't have my glasses but with my glasses of course I got them all right. :D

At the eye doctor when u do this test the screen is farther sways so for myself I counted this as cheating😂😂

last time I checked I had 20/70 vision lol my eyesight is baddd I'm picking up my glasses Monday 😂
Lots of things wrong with this test. 1.How far should you be away from the screen? 2.People have different size monitors. 3.People watch CZcams in different definition, and sizes.
I got all right, but I can't throw them away, because I have astigmatism.
This really depends if ur far sighted or near sighted because I'm can see close up but not far away so on this case I got it right but if this thing I'd 5 feet away it gets blurry so all you did was deferment if ur far or near sighted 🤓

Even my grandma took off her glasses and could read these letters easily from Top to bottom really easy guys you need to step up get us something really hard something tough that we can't understand

would be important to state how far you have to be away from your computer. This test was not meant to be taken sitting down in front of your computer screen. Take six big steps back from your computer and then take the test. You probably will find that your eyes are not as good as you thought. 20/20 means that you can see from 20 feet what the average person sees from 20 feet. 20/40 means you can see from 20 feet what the average person can see from 40 feet etc.

I see better without my glasses but if I don't wear them for a long time one eye will go the way I'm looking and the other will be where ever it wants

depends on the device. If it's a laptop on fullscreen yes. if an iPad or cellphone I would say 6ft.

There are very different sizes for a laptop. So this doesn't really work.
