Hold down the action button to make it spin. Try using the action button on everything, some things have hidden functions. EX: the default outer rim storm trooper helmets have headlamps. The default outer rim vader helmet makes the breathing sound. And more. Mess around, holding the lighsaber down makes it do something else . Not all lightsabers have secondary functions, but double bladed one have the ability to just turn one side on. And yes, if you use dark chains you can force choke. You need to grab their neck with dark chains and grab it once more and they will choke and die.
