If they had any scruples about them the 100th expansion would have been a very special one at a very special price.
Thank you, Jef!
Excellent as always Jef. Way more than just playing the sounds of an expansion. Great practical usage scenerios with clear teaching style and repetition for emphasis. Cheers!
As always great video! Really great demo of time stretching and what’s possible. Those samples do sound cool indeed!
Once again Jef, a great tutorial. Letting us into seeing the quickest way to adapt samples to the tempo. Two thumbs up 👍🏻 👍🏻 - Lee
Thanks Lee! Glad it helped…
Another great video! I like your personal perspective on bass & drums near the start, then the tips and tricks on the Maschine are excellent tutorials with practical examples. I never spend enough time learning my Maschine and surfing through the expansion. I keep falling back to Logic because I know it so well - everything you demo in Maschine I know how to more efficiently in Logic - so of course it’s my go to. Plus I have so many sources of samples and loops. NI Expansion, Ampify Sounds, LoopCloud and almost 500GB of free samples I’ve accumulated over the years. The NI Expansion are nicely curated and packaged, plus most also contain Battery kits, Massive presets and other goodies. I gotta make the time to learn the Maschine eco-system and techniques better. Your videos are my inspiration 😊
Great video tutorial Jeff! Thanks man.
Most welcome Charles!
In gate mode you can pitch the key of the sample by putting it in keyboard mode. It's quite adorable
Right! Actually pretty cool sometimes… keeps the timing!
Awesome Maschine tutorial Jef! I agree, I’m not a big DnB fan but this expansion sounds really good. Thanks!
Most welcome Robert!
It's so funny Jef! You, DDS, myself, and Beau all did a different track with the expansion and makes me think we all need to do some DnB classes together, lol Another dooe vid as usual. Been missing ya! Blessings! 💯
Yes!! I gotta work on my dnb pad chops!
Of all the times I’ve watched your videos. This actually the first one I’ve seen with time stretching. Love this 🦾🦾
Thanks! I’ve got a dedicated one on it, gets a little deeper! Just search Jef time stretch…
@@jefgibbons thanks I will do that.
Cool Jef 😎👍🏿
Cool as always 👍. Any video on Bazzazian expansion? :)
When I saw this expansion drop I immediately thought about you, thinking this probably isn’t one of your go to genres to demo 😀 We need more Beats n Chats!!!
Hopefully soon!! Thanks for the encouragement!
6:26 The saddest elephant ever. 🐘
I’ll have to check that later 🤷🏻
Great video as always Jeff...I have the Mikro MK lll Can the same steps be done on it?
Love the videos Jef. This is OT, but are there a few expansions that could be used for more of a “smooth jazz” type backing track creation?
Satin Looks! Crate Cuts has tons of great piano loops too…
@@jefgibbons thanks!
Great video man. Been thinking of getting a machine. What model are you using?
I’ve got both the plus and the mk3. I love them! Plus isn’t necessary unless you really see yourself getting away from the computer. You’ll also need power! (No battery).
I bought maschine, battery and a bunch of expansions last year and never use them. It was too steep of a learning curve and I find the interfaces to be terrible making what should be simple tasks complicated. But the worst part for me is the fact that none of these are key labeled or key labeled properly so it's up to me to try to figure out - usually by converting to wav files to midi and analyzing in my own crude way. If I'm working in a song in E minor and I want to add something from an expansion it's hopeless. Any suggestions?
