Joe is correct. Confidence is more attractive then people who keep putting themselves down. For if you think low of yourself, how are people going to see you.
I’ve noticed it even with myself. On days that I’m more confident, I can feel it off the people I’m interacting with. But when I don’t, even those talking to me feel more groggy and less interested. Confidence is really important.

Before I watch this video, I am a dark skin black woman. I have never had issues with men being attracted to me. At any age. Black men have always been the most unkind and critical. Being thin and smart/nerdy, they accused me of trying to be white. I grew up on a military base with so many races, I knew that was bullshit. Thank God I found channels like jk. The Asian women I had in my life were not only open to help a young black girl, but made the best food. Spanish women as well. Only in my black community was I judged so harshly. I love my people, but they didn't let me be me growing up.

That’s so true what Bart said. I grew up in a really diverse area and I never thought I couldn’t try to date someone that wasn’t my race. My first girlfriend was Asian in 3rd grade and then a middle eastern on in 4th grade as in middle school a black girl and then Latina like that has never occurred to me that I couldn’t talk to a girl because of their race.
Alot of it has to do with where your born at and where your living. Where i live in socal, theres like only 3-5% asian population in school. So it was a bit hard to get out of the shell and date other races when the other race usually prefer their own race. But yes confidence does play a big role around highschool and after. But honestly if your fit and have alot of confidence/funny, you can def get any race easier.
Just a rule of thumb: it’s always easier to attract your own race in a multicultural society, but some things are universal male attractors, like height, confidence, charisma, ability to stay grounded. Go to the mirror and ask yourself if you’d date you and be honest. Cause some of y’all boys got some real work to do mentally,physically,spiritually, financially. But you don’t have to have everything in order to join the dance of life, it’s a chaotic world so work on your own peace/piece.
I had a Mexican girlfriend when I was a kid and I never thought it was weird until my parents told me that being in a relationship with someone out of race was bad. Her family was super chill about it tho even got invited to her cousins quinceanera.
Remember your parents aren’t the ones dating/having a relationship with that person. They are probably just going off what they were told and that worked for them. Find who makes you happy!

I’m Vietnamese and Korean and my ex-gf of 5 years was Mexican, her dad loved me, trusted me, was always out with them for cookouts and all that. I was brought up to believe that interracial dating was a crime, I always just followed what I believe and didn’t let their outdated mindset alter my decisions

I think a big problem is the lack of “Asian Romantic Leads” in TV shows or movies. And even if they have a “Hot Male Asian” they often are “Halfie Asian”.
I think the only TV show with a Male Romantic Asian lead I can think of recently is “Crazy Ex Girlfriend”
Comparatively, there’s so many other shows that show Asian women in romantic relationships, often with white men. But the opposite is definitely not shown for Asian Men on the screen.

This is a very West Coast centric attitude. When you live in the South and East Coast (and trust me, there’s a lot of Asians who live in the South and East Coast), you do run into a more collective, xenophobic idea towards Asian men in the dating realm.

I live there and would say pretty much the opposite and they were completely right in what they said in the video...It's probably even more apparent in the East Coast because if you are actually attractive and likable being Asian will make them more curious about you

They all make good points, but they all live in a bubble aside from Hok. Everyone is born and raised in California and haven’t grown up in the South or in the East coast where Asians are less represented. Some of these guys speaking for more Asian love/ representation is speaking for those guys that live in less Asian populated places. Obviously confidence and everything else plays a huge role imo
But at the end of the day, you need to realize your own self worth from yourself and not from others.
I went to a rural high school that was 95%white and currently live in Utah. Never had a problem dating once I learned in my senior year of HS, it really is about confidence.

But studies have shown people from all races choose Asian men & Black women last over all other races. That's just the facts though. I get what y'all are saying tho. I grew up in a multicultural area and moved to a white neighbourhood and still got attention all my life. If you're attractive you're attractive. 😂 And if you're not, work on something else so your race doesn't stop you getting what you want romantically 🤷🏾♀️
South Asian men were least attractive and black men second least attractive according to those stats. Not East Asians.
Asian is too broad of a term. And clearly Asians are not the same….an Indian and a Korean man is not the same “race”. The studies that separate into specifics show south Asian men being last and East Asian men having similar numbers to black men. (Which isn’t high either, but not last) Take that how you will.
Yup I have heard this before. It was a study done based on preferences on Tinder or something. Asian Men/Black Females were the least picked.

It’s so interesting to me that some Asian men (not the incels…we know why they upset)would feel so strongly about that today with how popular Asian pop music is. Obviously normal Asian men don’t walk around looking like K-pop or J-pop idols but even monolids which seem to be a big insecurity for Asian people from videos I’ve seen, those are really pretty to a lot of people with double eyelids. I think a lot of it comes down to humans just wanting what they don’t have 🤷🏼♀️ you have naturally tan skin and monolids, you think pale skin and double eyelids are prettier and vice versa. Media doesn’t help either. Then there are the dbags who just don’t like anyone who looks different but we don’t care about them.

It always perplexes me how in school how many Asians were in music & really good at it, but then you don't ever see them become famous with radio, concerts or music videos. Or how they play street basketball but they're not in the NBA. It's by design, society carves out those key areas for blacks so they can have something to inspire their people through music & sports. This is why the Simpsons have stereotypes of certain races, because it holds a mirror up to society. The Korean dry cleaners, Viet nail salon, the Indian cashier at KwikEMart, and all white movie stars, all reflect what we already know to be true.
