How Much Speed can a GG-1 Handle? - Roblox NEC

To put it simple, I was curious, so I tried to be realistic while trying to break a speed record with an electric locomotive from the 1930s. Anyways, hope y'all enjoy this one!

As a rule I don't pay too much attention to computer-generated animations but this was pretty interesting, especially when NJ Transit's "Bull Mascot" showed up to wish a "Bon Voyage!" to the train.
In real life the GG1's were geared in such a way that 100 MPH was possible and occasionally some did run that fast but in the end the PRR never really did find out how fast they could go. One thing's for certain, the old G's were a hell of a lot more reliable than some of the current generation of electrics. You read about all the bugs in the new Acela's and you want to shake your head in disbelief.
