Mary Vallas I’m going to make a point of it!
Corona's kinda ruined that possibility, maybe next year.
@@edbeaulieu5916 hey Ed, did you make it back for an update? This was an excellent project, I learned a lot. Well done.
Beautiful work! This will even be better once the plants grow in. Love your videos!
David Rickards I agree!
Only “Up” from here
@@edbeaulieu5916 I have watched your videos on how to build a stream. I built a 116' stream to my pond and this summer was it's first with full plant growth. Thank you for your sharing of your knowledge!
What a HUGE project...it's absolutely amazing! Gorgeously done Ed! Blessings
Let's all go home Thank you!!!

abdul rahman Thanks for your support Abdul!
Beard? Beautiful architecture plan.
The Monte Phone Thanks!
thank you! I have been waiting for this one and was afraid you had forgotten to post it! It is an amazing job - the waterfall is epic. The bridge is a great viewing point, color addition and architectural interest. I know that was existing but it was located so well it just becomes jewelry to the great design of the pond and waterfall. I do hope you revisit once they get it planted, I am sure it will be awesome!
Julie Enslow Thanks for following Julie!
I can’t wait to return.....
@@edbeaulieu5916
Thank you! We will both enjoy that!
That was amazing to watch. I sat and watched all 4 parts one after the other. It’s beautiful. 😃
Karen Harris Thanks for your support Karen!
Fabulous! Just love that bridge! And using the fallen trees from there is both practical and aesthetically pleasing. Just love it!
Finally! Wow what a wonderful job. It's going to look beautiful once it's planted. You guys do excellent work.
Mark Garson Thanks Mark!
I wish my city had something like this!
Renger Hoekstra Me too!
I really hope you do come back. I would love to see the finished project.
Looks amazing! Turned out great! 😎👍
Good morning Ed and team aquascap omg this is amazing. I absolutely love this waterfalls its very impressive wow what a statement that waterfalls makes. Wow what an awsome pond to go with it. Awsome. Amazing job. Great job. Hope you all have an amazing week. See you all next video like always
Crystal Hurb Thanks for your continued support Crystal!
wow, finally get to see the water fall complete, and yeah i definitely wanna see this planted and stable. so im guessing a larger body of water is longer to stabilize?
Mez Martinez Yes,
Large bodies of water take more time to stabilize
Thank you Ed for yet another awesome video! That bridge is indeed a beauty. Just wonder, given the huuuge scale of the project, large boulders, heavy machines and many people involved, how do you prevent the liner from being damaged?
Peter Svan We use a Heavy Duty Geotextile fabric below the liner to protect it from rocks and roots.
We then use a second layer of the geotextile on top of the liner to act as a protective barrier for the large boulders.
We’re always conscious of the pond liner and do what we can to insure it stays intact.
Been watching you guys since dr. Pols pond. U guys do amazing work. Kenans pond is 1 of my top 3 builds u guys did
tom rowan Thanks for your support Tom!
Kenan’s pond is awesome!!!
1.do u guys have a video when the first time water running down of the waterfall.. pls...

Yippe at last so happy got to see it run amazing really is great work as always
Trying to so wet land area and negative edge in my pond so mutch planing lol
DJs aerial productions djs Thank you!
Beautiful work. You make it sound so easy but it's really second nature to you folks. The idea of the "ecosystem" applies to both small and large scale projects. See you at Pondemonium next year...
Sean Odonnell Thanks Sean!
Looking forward to seeing you next year!
👍It IS a HOMERUN 💖➡️ with BASES LOADED! I would love to see this AWESOME water feature in a year or two to see how it has matured after you're beautiful transformation! 👏
Linda Leslie Thanks Linda!
I can’t wait to see it in a year or two
Nice job, guys!! I'll have to take a trip to Mahomet to see it.
Jennifer Zuri The entire property is incredible!!!
Is there any other update video of this?
According to the Aquascape Academy 3" round pipe facilitates a flow rate of 13,500gph and a 4" round pipe allows a flow rate of 21,000gph. What gph would a 6" pipe allow? That's quite a rise and run.
Sean Odonnell We have approx. 60,000 GPH flowing through the 6” pipe.
This is a unique situation where I specifically chose the diameter of the pipe to add additional head pressure to the pump.
It’s part of a longer discussion but basically I use a series of factors to according to the project designs and aesthetics to determine the desired flow rate.
From there I look at a variety of pumps to determine which pump will create the necessary amount of water flow for the project.
I then cross reference this with the pump curve to determine the optimal flow rate for the pump.
It’s a confusing concept and I will produce an upcoming video on this to better explain it.
@@edbeaulieu5916 thanks for the reply, you always do. Great way to increase the velocity of the water without creating too much back pressure. What a unique design.
Sean Odonnell Exactly!!!
It’s a balancing act to get the greatest flow with the lowest Horsepower.....
This is the first time I've seen a water feature done by you guys where I said "nope". This one is too symmetrical and looks too man made.
JB herps It was a challenging design because we were working within the existing concrete structure
Who else (from the title) thought, that's an expensive pond!
Joe Zy It’s expensive!
How high is it and which pumps did you use? Thanks
do you weld the two pieces of polyprope membrane or do you just overlap it?
was there any particular reason why you went with PP membrane instead of EPDM.
Swee Yong We went with PP because we were able to have it custom fabricated specifically for this project with no additional seams.
The waterfall is made with EPDM
ED! Please have someone add a link to the description area with a link to the Mahomet Park's website - hoping we can see pictures of how this thing looks as it settles in and the plants grow! If they do that, of course.
Hi Julie - You can check out their Facebook page. They recently posted a winter photo of the rec pond! facebook.com/CCFPD/
very impressive water looks a bit scummy will that clear ??? will fish be added to the pond ???
You must not of watched the whole video....
craig mason The pond was just filled and pumps connected during this video, it will take several weeks for everything to stabilize
Looks like a desert wash in the forest 7 years after a nuclear explosion.Looks amazing overall though.
Can you tell a name of a good product that will take care of my green algae water in my pond 8feet wide 13 feet long 2 feet deep plz help
He said diversity is key for healthy and stable environment only if humans think this way in our society
12krinson Agreed!
Y built a pond that is 2 feet deep
Awat eang. Ahhh .. 😂😂😂 uwa guro maisip eong disenyu rah....
The waterfall needs something else where the gravel and walls r on each side of falls
