Rest in Peace Alvin.

That's right!
"You do, what you do
And I do, what I do"
Everyome learns from experience
That is so true 👍🏼
Agree, nothing wrong with anti seize or wheel bearing grease to the hub~rotor mating surface, or that particular oil filter which one can see the quality of it (vs a canister one)
100% agree with using anti-seize on the hub. I have an old BMW that uses wheel bolts and at one point in time I took all the bolts out and the wheel still wouldnt come off the hub. Had to beat the crap out of it with a rubber mallet. Used a wire wheel and anti-seize, just like you did, and haven't had any issues for years
I know it's been a year but I'm truly sorry for your loss brother! I watch this channel all the time and have taken up many things from it. Quick Hack: Dollar Tree has these 2 pack of garden hangers that look just like caliper hooks. Been using them for a while and they work awesome 🤙. Take care and GOD BLESS!!
From my family to yours Angel, so sorry for the loss of your friend. God bless him and his family and yours too Angel. God bless you all.
Chris fix it and you angel are my favorite CZcams mechanics to watch. Thank you for helping me with your awesome videos.
I went from ChrisFix to Scotty and ErictheCarGuy and South Main Auto (also an Eric) and I forgot which but Faye is the girls name. Goth looking type. Toyota Tech. Oddly enough most of those guys except for Scotty don't seem like real good people. Not like Angel.
Continue to be blessed! Your soul is soo pure and giving. Thank you!
I admire a hard working person. You repair cars on your time off, video and edit giving excellent instruction. Bravo!
So sorry for your loss. I was able to locate and read his obituary. Definitely sounds like he was a great guy! I loved his response to the words, it can't be done. "Wanna Bet!?" Keep up the great videos 'fixitangel'
Sorry for your loss. You are awesome mechanic and make great videos.
Great video, never get tired of watching them. They really help out.
I use both the regular and alu. Anti sieze no problemas ever. Going get the copper one. Angel you're a great teach. I appreciate all you do

Great job Angel, and sorry for your loss.
Filipino mechanic...the best!....More power bro angel!
Love your channel man
You did a great job like every video
Thanks bro for sharing your knowledge
Angle, I mentioned this before. Use the silicon paste between the brake hardware and caliper bracket. Helps prevent rust jacking but, never use it on the hardware where it contacts the brake pad ears. And yes of course, using anti seize on the hub is fine, just don't over due it.
Great thorough video. Thanks for sharing and very sorry for your loss.
God bless.
Really your gonna school Angel on brakes LMAO!
@@marv.mon.9845 are you saying I'm wrong. Besides, other may read these comments. Do YOU know what I'm referring to Marvin. Even thought there was no evidence of rust, in Nevada it's dry. I live in the rust belt. A habit to treat certain brake components a specific way. Besides, angle is open to any comments.
@@robertweir9034 Not at all. Yes I do know what your speaking of. Been selling car parts for 10 years now. Just kind of thrown off a bit. To me it's like trying to tell Serena Williams how to hit a backhand.
Thank you for your efforts.
Sorry about your friend. Great video as always. Keep them up
Sorry for your loss.
Sorry to hear about your friend.
I always have used FRAM filters, 20+ years and never had the problems that I have heard about. I dislike those cartridge filters allot, I have a few friends cars that I work on and prefer the spin on's by far. I feel it's less of a mess and since I spin on by hand, will never strip them unless I cross the threads (hasn't happened yet). Not to mention the spin on's are cheaper 99% of the time.
What wrong with using anti seize on the hub area where rotor is held to prevent stuck or seized? Only idiots or moron dont know that. People out there dont know anything because if you lived in the snowing climate that rotor will be glue onto the hub due to rusty hub so it is best to put antizseize to prevent from happening. Dont listen to those nobies out there think they know everything. You went to UTI and learned the right way better than those people didnt went to school like us. I went to UTI at Exton, PA in 2006 and graduated in 2007. Guess that Angel graduated one year earlier. Learning the right way better than learning the wrong way. Good job on your video. Thank you Angel. Sorry for your lost of your best friend. I lost my aunt last year March of 2019. @Fix It Angel.
😢 my condolences for your friend that’s scary. I was born in 72’ also. Hope I keep going

That’s funny angel! I used to work at the Chevrolet dealership next door, well past that dirt lot anyway 😅
I'm very sorry to hear of your friend Alvin's passing, may he rip.
Продолжай в том же духе, видео супер. Всегда жду с нетерпением.
Rest In Paradise Alvin. God bless..
You are a good man
Hey Angel dope videos I'm learning alot bro.
I simply love these videos. Salamat
Your new subscriber here. Proud Filipino as well. 🤙🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻
Thanks for the video. Sorry for the loss. Stay gold my friend
Thanks for the good work
Another job well done. It’s like school he’s teaching us. Neighbors I’m guessing here, won’t bother with him fixing cars on his driveway because I’m pretty sure they get good maintenance from him on their cars.
Angel, iv'e used antiseeze on hubs before. Another good product to use on hubs is something called fluid film that Eric O from south main auto uses a lot. I just used the fluid film on my dad's civic this weekend when i did a brake job. But antiseeze is also a good thing too.
Good work! I like your hands
The two things you said people would argue about the antiseize and Frame are not the things I argue about. 😆🤪 I argue about putting silicone paste behind the pad hardware to minimize squeal and I open the bleeder to push out the old fluid next to the caliper piston because some argue the abs system channels shouldn't go in reverse and never push the pistons in like that with a screwdriver, but seen it done many times and plus time time everything is replaced too. And interesting about the warping more easy when resurfaced. Didn't know that. Plus those e-coated rotors. Fancy!
And as far as Fram. I liked the Ultra Gold for synthetic and mesh system in the metal can versions. That XG cartridge version looks so robust though!! Might try next time. Always been getting the filter at the dealer because the local is selling it for $4 limit one per day or whatever. But yeah you do how it works for you!
Great video i like al tour videos
Great video Angel. Dunk that 1/2" ratchet in ATF for the weekend. Needs some lube!
Been using them Frame Ultra for 10 years... Never had an issue with them. Used them in all my customers vehicles.. They never complain either...
Here in the northeast, antiseize is a must. Must be nice working on cars that aren't covered in rust.
great as always😎👌
This is my fav video and fav car,
Thank you so much...
I'm sad the '12 version was the last one that had the 268hp v6 in it. Didn't drink much more than like 2mpg more in gas either for some reason. Powerful engine. Lotus put it in one of their lower end units and supercharged or turboed it though. But it was good enough to be a base unit to start with.
Great job Angel, I would file and clean the slots where the pad hardware seats, those slots if rusted will prevent the pads from synchronized movement thus resulting in uneven pad and rotor wear, doing it for 30 yrs so thought I’ll add my 2 cents🙏🏽
Good job buddy nice seeing you again myfriend your friend Danny
I love your wideos
Good job my friend .. waiting for the next video .. don't late
Fram is THE only filter I use and will ever use on all of my vehicles. Never had a problem with them.
Look them up they are actually cheap made
@@heyitschinoable is ok man, I have never had any issues or engine damage due to using this brand. Filters are just a filtration item is not like using a cheap transmission filter. Now that would be stupid of me to cheap out on that. Any oil filter is good
@@heyitschinoable I used all kinds of filters and never once had an issue with any brand
Agree with you im also using Copper anti sieze compound on all my work especially on brake drums hub interface and PIVOT POINT AND PIN works like miracle WORKS WELL THAN PAINTS AS RUST PREVENTIVE ON HIGHER TEMPERATURE LIKE MOST HIGHT TEMP PAINT WILL FLAKE OFF
keep up the great work
Lol regarding your comment on Fram oil filters. I have been using them for decades without issue. Their Tough Guard and Ultra Synthetic are well-made filters. Enjoy your helpful vids, may try to tackle my Gen 3 Odyssey front wheel bearings, have a bearing cup kit and high torque impact, looks like the job may require a press, not sure if a 12 ton is enough here in the Northeast U.S.corrosion is always an added factor 👍🏽
professional . good work .you making very interest video . hello from Ukrain!
Pure heart ❤️ and work
Finally you get to do some gravy work!
Good video Angel.
*The was the cleanest oil drain plug pullout I've ever seen* 😂😂😂
Hello from Russia more videos plz.
Permatex anti-seize is an excellent product. I use it by the barrel in the frozen tundra of Milwaukee, WI!!
God calls on his cherished ones and gives them the beauty of love! We all give our blessings and pass on our love to the family and friends! God bless!
Bravo Mister..
Great video
Good job chelu!!
Как всегда отличная работа 👍
Good work
Thanks for all your helpful videos. May your friend R.I.P. 🙏🏾 🤙
Nice job sir.. 👍👍👍
My Condolences Angel
Greetings from the Philippines
You need to remove remove the aluminum plug to drain the filter canisters on toyota. The new filter kit gives you the tool to drain after you take off the plug. Thanks for all your videos!
Not in the aftermarket ones. They only come with 2 o rings
Sorry for ur friend's passing. May he rest in peace. My gut tells me that Alvin is an ilocano. His middle name 'Duldulao' is prominent in Ilocos Norte, particularly in the city of Laoag. Also the 'Fernandezes' by the way.
Aloha, Yeah Fram cartridge looks okay! I would rather use Wix if it is cannister type filter. Mahalo Angel!
Ángel MY friend
I know I know belive me,, good friends, real friends hard to find and more hard to say I see you later !!
Sorry for your loss .
Nice video, Nice job👍
Angel, I know what it feels like to lose a dear friend. I'm sorry for your loss. May God give him eternal rest.
I generally do it the same way except i live in michigan so i clean the bracket with a fine metal file and wire brush then put a thin coat of brake grease before the tin clips to prevent rust jacking
Nicholas Gamble I see they have a brake caliper file now just for that spot available..
good job!brother🤙
Wow your friend died before thanksgiving 😔 great video ,rip to your friend
Good job!
Te deseo las bendiciones para tu familia y que pase todo este asunto pase muy rápido y se proteja la puerta de tu casa y Luego poder seguir viendo más para aprender de tus habilidades profesionales. Gracias , Camilo
Anti-seize trick is not only good for future rotor removal - but have you ever had a real stubborn rim that seemed like it was welded to the hub when doing a tire change/rotation? This is how you prevent that little difficulty. Nips it in the bud before it ever gets a chance to start. Keep on just like you're keeping on The nay-sayers have likely never been where you've been. Sorry for your loss, man.
Good job
I love your videos man 🤤🌹
