At the University of Colorado School of Medicine (CUSOM), we are all about our community. Over the summer, it’s tradition for the newly minted second years create a “welcome video” for the incoming class. The video is a behind-the-scenes glimpse of what it’s like to be a CU medical student here in beautiful Denver, Colorado.

The University of Colorado School of Medicine (CUSOM) is a Medical Doctorate (M.D.) degree program located on the Anschutz Medical Campus which is the only comprehensive academic health sciences center in Colorado, the largest academic health center in the Rocky Mountain region, and one of the newest education, research, and patient care facilities in the world.
CUSOM is dedicated to preparing physicians who will serve the public by aspiring to excellence in patient care, research, education and community service. The school provides graduates with the foundation for a lifetime of continual learning. Our curriculum integrates clinical, basic science and humanities education throughout all four years of medical school. Our graduates practice scientific and humanistic medicine and possess the skills to provide excellent, empathetic and compassionate patient care.
