I would use andis cleaner spray! It also lubricates aswell, i dont trust using water to clean.

Actually, that is not a bad idea. I will have to look into the shaver cleaner

I avoid using cleaning spray it is flammable and instead fill a clip lock bag with hot water.
Add one squirt of dish cleaner put the cartridge in for a minute then take it out and rinse then leave to dry overnight on paper towel.
