Plz. Read carefully booklet or user manual before use.
application is very tricky. You should try on small portion see the results and then adjust accordingly. Most cases its matter of coats applied and finishing shine. Less chance that the paint color is not match but its still a possibility.

Plz. Follow instruction booklet. You can try rubbing lightly with 2500 sand paper or can use thinner. I think the colour can be little lighter if you rubbing with colgate or rubbing compound. But be careful।

I also did it on my red kia sonet. It covered the scratch marks and paint also matched. But the repainting area looks less glossy compared to the surrounding area. Is there any way to fix that ? Will polishing work ?

This paint gets removed with thinner it is not a sustainable option
I applied one year ago still ok.
why are you putting thinner on your car? put a good layer of clear coat and it should be ok.
