- All the Cars that are available in wangan midnight PS3, part 2 of 2.
The tuning parts on the cars are customizable and what you see is just how I have the particular car modified at the time when i made the video.
All the horsepower ratings are the same because it's based on my current set of tuning card setup. I also have the engine swap option enabled so all vehicles are currently using my level 2 RB26DETT with stage 4 Boost.
Tuning Card Guide:
Card 1 to 5: Engine HP L, M64 (S30, Porsche).
Card 6 to 10: Engine HP 2JZ, RB26 (Supra, Skyline).
Card 11 to 15: Engine HP 13B,12A (RX7).
Card 16 to 20: Engine HP 4G63 (Evo).
Card 21 to 25: Engine HP 13B,12A (RX7).
Card 26 to 30: Engine HP RB26 (Skyline).
Card 31 to 35: Engine HP VG30 (Fairlady Z).
Card 36 to 39: Chassis Stiffness.
Card 40 to 43: Body weight reduction.
Card 44: Chassis Stiffness.
Card 45 to 47: ECU tune for Lower End Torque.
Card 48 to 50: ECU tune for High End Power.
Card 51 to 52: Scramble (Overboost) ability. Engine Overheats faster but allows you to temporarily increase maximum HP and Top Speed limit.
Card 53 to 54: Increase Tire Grip.
Card 55 to 56: Transmission upgrade (faster acceleration and taller final gear for higher top speed)
Card 57 to 58: Suspension Upgrade (Reduce body roll).
Card 59 to 60: Engine durability (slower rate to engine overheating and detonation).
Card 61 to 62: Transmission and Suspension upgrade.
Card 63 to 64: Engine durability, tire grip, life gauge (SP).
Card 65: Transmission and suspension.
Card 66: Scramble overboost ability (max level 3).
Card 67: Ghost,makes you immune to traffic.
Card 68: Body stiffness, engine durability, SP(life gauge during battles)
Card 69 to 80: Engine swap cards (Allows you to use engines from other cars, two power ratings for each engine type).
Card 81 to 128: Various unlockable cars, extra character chapters, game modes, tune up parts and various upgrades.
I like how Genki put some of the Tokyo Xtreme Racer drivers/cars in the game

One was a team leader (Rolling Guy N°1), Nagoya D3 (Rook, Bishop, Knight), Thirteen Devils (Bloodhound / Hot Dog, Melancholy Angel, King Speed / Jintei), Zodiac (White Charisma), Wanderer/Former 4 Devas (Death Driver)
My only issue with the TXR vehicles is who at Genki even thought it would be a good idea to replace Gloomy Angel and Death Driver's S15s with RX-8s in Import Tuner Challenge.
That, and the fact that Import Tuner Challenge being releases on the X360 rather than the PS3 (which was basically SUICIDE for Japanese developers).
Even worse is that the developers of Genki took it upon themselves to try and revive the franchise with a MOBILE GAME! So as of now, Shutokou Battle is no more!
It also wasn't a great idea to replace Red Devil's R34 into a crap looking Subaru
TXR0 R34 is better than his Impreza (Same as Jintei)
@@SleepyPopups In the Shutokou series they should've kept Jintei's R34 tbh, but I actually liked his impreza in kaido battle 3.(and it also made sense for him to change his car in that series)
I also love how this game has the Tokyo XTreme Racers cars.
One I can note is the "Rolling Guys AE86"
It's my favourite team, actually.

I love the speed effects in this game, but the handling with the DFP is too rubbery on the road. Still like the rev blow concept though.
TXR borrowed Black Bird ("ZERO" in TXR0) & Devil Z (On multiple occasions.)

Sucks that they used the Import Tuner Challenge version of Jintei instead of the TXR one. Speed King's R34 was better than the Impreza.

God, it makes me wish that time can be turn back and Genki could've done a port of ITC/Shutokou Battle X to the PS3 after they've done the X360 version, instead of locking it behind the Xbox 360 exclusive... the inclusion of ITC/Shutokou Battle X characters was a prove that they could've do that... but it's been... 17 years... and it wasn't to be, just a dream
Im thinkin on getting this for ps3 since im a fan of the show. I already have Initial D Extreme Stage so i know this will work on my ps3, and i love collecting Japanese games. Is this worth the buy though? It looks a lot like TXR, which i also love. I saw the game pretty cheap on ebay, just wondering if it is worth the time to play though. What are the physics like and is it a whole story mode game like Extreme Stage? Thanks to anyone who responds.
7 years late but, the engine blow is a huge problem for many. that being said, with a 1500 hp swap, all problems are solved.

Yes. And some boss wanderers from Shutokou Battle X/ITC are also in this game as well (thanks to the fact this game was developed by the same game developer)
How did you get memories and the last one which has cars like the subaru etc?
I love the white carisma fd3s aka rx7 the best. That car is Beast!!! also made a car mod of that in gta sa.

@@zenryoku_evo I remember when I saw WM anime Yamamoto said their team had a private Z the orange one and the driver and mechanic was Kitami jun when he was young 20 yrs ago and after their accident on that rainy day at ebisu they sold the Z and 4 yrs later Kitami saw that Z again on Tohmei highway and after that he bought it and fixed it he installed new tuning parts and he repainted it in blue then Kitami crashed it again and 10 yrs later Eriko's brother bought it and 2 yrs after his death when he was racing with Tatsuya Akio found the Z that's the timeline

@@JinteiModding So the driver picture of the orange Z its Kitami jun when he was young Interesting another thing I saw was that 2.8XX Celica Supra Mk2 Kei's father car Koichiro Izawa I bought this game and by far this is my favorite car in the whole game along with the orange Z and those 300ZX Z32's
