- Our local TV station presents “Share Your Holiday” during the month of December. In conjunction with the Salvation Army they accept donations (toys, non-perishable food, or monetary) to aid our neighbors who have less.
Remember the Wooden Toy Car from last year's Share Your Holiday project?

Someone suggested - "you should do that with skate wheels" - and so - YES - of course let's do that!
Here is the 2019 - Roller Racer - Mark II.

4 Wheels
8 Bearings (2 per wheel)
4 Bearing Spacers (1 per wheel)
2 Axles - Threaded Rod (1 front / 1 rear)
20 Washers (5 washer stack per wheel)
4 Threaded Spacers - Rivnuts (1 per wheel)
4 Capnuts (1 per wheel)
Threadlocker - all threaded fastners.
Balance the quantities of each hardware item with the number of cars you'd like to build. Some of the items are sold in multi-packs so you'll need to do a little math to figure out how many of each item to order - to make it work out for the number of cars of cars you'd like to build.
HAVE FUN! ;-]

Love it and thanks for the source list...
Great video and love this project. Can you provide a link to which wheels and axle hardware you used?
Thank you for the kind words! That's a great idea - let me update the description with the hardware list.
Thanks! I’m excited to make a few of these. Can you also share your SVG? Also, which CNC machine is that?
How much do you sell these cars for? Just adding up your parts list to make one car not including the wood and I am up to about $72! How much do you sell these for? And do people actually pay these prices for that sort of a toy? Just curious. I love to try this on my cnc machine but the cost seems so steep to the even make a profit. Maybe I am out of the loop here!?
Actually I donated 10 of these to a local "Share your Holiday" event last year - so I guess the selling price was - FREE! ;-] I was just getting ready to order parts - to make another batch for this year's event - and I had the same sticker shock you just had. WOW - did the cost of things go up over the year! Last year - the cost to make was about $20. I'm kind of stunned at the price increase of the wheels especially..
Anyway - here's a link to my all wooden version (wheels and all):czcams.com/video/6TG4ir3cpRs/video.html
Let me know what you come up with! ;-]
How order red weells?
