I have the Helikon-Tex Possum as well as Bandicoot. They're on the expensive end, but the quality is top-notch.

I wear one over the shoulder and now I can't understand how I went through life without one. It has all the stuff I need outside.

I started wearing one because of Nutnfancy. My wife put a stop to that. Lol

You've got balls admitting that. Nutnfancy went from being one of my favorite channels to one of the lamest most annoying personalities on CZcams. Can't stand his or his annoying sons arrogance anymore.

I have a fishing fanny-pack, big enough to handle a small plastic lure box from Plano, a few soft plastic lure bags, hooks, pliers, tape measure, and fishing scent. It's good for lightweight shore fishing when you want to move around a lot, keeps the hands free. I keep a hand towel in the water bottle holder to wipe my hands from fish slime. I'm a big fan of those fanny packs.

They're amazing for fishing. I use a Mountainsmith and alternate between waist and crossbody carry.

I wore one as a kid while on vacation, but that's it.
Today as an adult I just carry a small pocket organizer, because I only have a little bit of pocket stuff and it's all very small.
I no longer carry a full sized multitool or small belt pouch outside of work, and I have completely given up modern folders for good.
I can easily get caught up in the idea of carrying a lot of excess stuff that I imagine needing, but in the end I tire of pocketing stuff I'm not using and I also won't carry anything that doesn't comfortably fit on my person.
I have a bag I take to work, but beyond that it's just my jean pockets, shirt pocket, wool vest pockets, and jacket pockets.
In the summer I'm limited to just carpenter shorts and a shirt pocket, all the other pockets I have in the winter are just different places to put my wallet anyways.
All I really have to grab is my pocket organizer, handkerchief, wallet, flashlight, keys, and phone.

I'm a big guy too and I love my Tactical Baby Gear fanny pack. It's made for Dad's but of course anyone can use them. Mine is the Tactical Hip pack. Black camo. Looks good, has four zippered pockets and it's great for concealed carry. Check it out. Oh and it comes in very large belt size I'm a 3x and it fits!

I used to carry a fanny pack everyday, back in the day. I never been what you would call fashion conscious, it's just there were a lot of them available at the local stores at the time. I've been trying to resurrect one of my old fanny packs for a few years now to carry my BUG and occasionally carry it as primary. I have a Helikan-Tex Possum on the way for my naked 43X and either DeSantis pocket holster or trigger guard. I need to keep things as small as possible as I already EDC 2 Glock 17 mags, a giant cell phone, and a Glock 17 in a retention duty holster on my belt. I also need something that will not interfere with a concealed vest or an overt vest, depending on the outside temperatures. I'm carrying a few items that I would like to get into a fanny pack so I might have to move up to the Bandicoot. If I really like carrying some stuff that way with my ballistic vests, I might go crazy an splurge on a Hill People Gear medium fanny pack.

I've been through many many of those packs. Having one strapped to my wheelchair right under my knees to keep my fat wallet, key's several different colors of markers gum, and a small first AID kit. I just bought one a few month's ago through Amazon it's hard to make a choice not touching it and looking at the size. I took a Chan's it happen to be just right. Like you said it adds weight, I'm so used to the extra weight I don't know any better from having it on my chair everyday carry. When people talk about everyday carry. Well for me getting in my wheelchair Every thing I have on my chair is everyday carry.

      @lonetrader1 Před 2 lety

How exactly did you attach it??? Super curious! I gotta old maxpadition strapped across my walker, but haven't figured a good spot for the wheelchair and pretty sure I'll never figure a good way to attach anything to my loft strand crutches

@@alexandergutfeldt1144 I have a ridgit frame there is a grab bar under my chair I loop the strap around the frame bar's and around the bar under the wheelchair. You can also wrap it around the two side bar's like the leg strap for the feet.
On my chair people can't even see the pack because it's behind my leg so it's not even noticeable. All my different wheelchairs in the past I found a way to clamp the pack on it behind my legs just loop the strap around a few time's until it's tight snap the buckle it should stay. Hope I help. She can carry lots of stuff and never worry if she got hers bag because it will always be attach to hers chair. If she wants to take it off snap the buckle it will come off faster than putting it back on. You will find that out.✌🏽

I've been carrying an IFAK and a couple other items in a grey Spiritus Systems Fanny SACK Mk3 for a couple years or so. I put a second male buckle on it so that I can snap it around my backpack when I'm not wearing it. it kind of makes it a modular system like the seatback idea you had. I normally have it on the backpack these days, but it comes off quickly and I can strap it on myself.
