Have you tried using this as a sling bag I want to get something to carry more stuff, but I don't want to get in tho way of my appendix holster. I'd love to know if it works well on the chest rather than on the waist.
I'm sure you could wear it that way, but I don't like wearing them as slings. Another option is to get some belt stays so the pack stays on the opposite hip as your appendix holster. I use the belt stays on all my bags now.
If your's is smaller its a "Possom" pack by helicon tex. If its the same sice. Then you have the velcor pannel inside. There should be a "tab" on the top left. You can take that entire pannel out and add a holster for example :D
Depends on your firearm choice, but I love the QAPS and the Rat pack. The Rat will definitely hold a bigger pistol, but the QAPS guys have a bigger bag now too. If money is a problem, I would get the Rat. A little more versatile. For summer carry in shorts though, QAPS is fantastic. So tiny, but the two separate pouches make it easy to carry the essentials. Or just get both like I did. 😆
I've seen reviews where the detachable waist belt loop hooks can come out and the pack falls off your waist? Not sure I want to take a chance on that happening. Whats your opinion on this?
I don't see how that could possibly happen. I've tossed this thing on the floor, in my truck, worn it countless hours, never had an issue with the hook. It's on there pretty securely.
not sure I like that metal hook thing the ladder buckle to hold the loose end I have added that to belts I have, either stitched like here or just feed the loose end through I like my front zipper opening the opposite way I'm right-handed but do some things left-handed, like my computer mouse the main pocket should have come with an organizer for you stuff I've read that some are missing this this doesn't bother me pack looks nice, could be a little bit bigger but I might just get one loads of colors available for this model! YES, I still use a CHECKBOOK & a FLIP PHONE my Smart Phone self destructed a while back and the NEW OS UPDATES SUCK! I also have NO Internet at home and NO CREDIT CARDS!!! there is way too much intrusion into out private lives!!! FYI you do realize that there are usually TWO TRANSACTION fees every time you use a CREDIT CARD!!! the BANK$ are making tons of money with CREDIT CARDS!!! I have got one recently, but mine is different, i have divisions and rubber straps in the main pocket...

I got mine on Amazon in 2021. Looks like the price has gone up a little, still sub $50.
