    Skeet’s record endured for 40years. Shows how much he was ahead of his time.
    To run 110 meters is 12.9 is fast in itself, but with hurdles...CRAZY!!!!!

      12.9 100 m is slow for any athlete. I'm a middle distance distance runner with a 12.97.
      But to go sub 13 in the hurdles is truly difficult.
      I did training with hurdles for strength training and running form and I did 6 or 7 hurdles 6 sets and my legs were burning.

    • @heightdevil
      @heightdevil Před 5 lety +1

      Alan Samuel he said 110 meters, not 100, big difference. A 12.9 110 is roughly equal to an 11.6/11.7 100m, which is actually pretty fast (in my opinion anyways)

    • @alansamuel2454
      @alansamuel2454 Před 5 lety +1

      @@heightdevil ok I forget the hurdles was 110 m.
      Yes then it pretty fast.
      I definitely think anyone who can go below 12 in the 100 m is a good athlete.
      I can do a 12.97 for the 100 m.
      Pretty mediocre if you ask me.

      Lamar Murray you shut up. I didn’t say anything negative about either one of them. I just think that Roberts and Grant could go a lot faster than they did. Grant didn’t even lean at the line.
