He really is a credit to you, Elaine. I signed on for 6 years and had to work hard and so an 18 year commitment is something to be commended.

24 minutes and 10 seconds in, Lewis is in the circuit and the narrator says, “At 500 mph it takes Lewis five minutes to ………….” Ummmm, if Lewis was doing 500 mph around the circuit that would surely be an RAF record! Surely someone checks this stuff before it gets aired?

    "..countless procedures and checks."
Every line/step in any checklist literally has a number preceding it.

It is a bit surreal listening to the news clips in these episodes regarding the build up to Operation Iraqi Freedom - and to know that we are now 20+ years on and that a number of these pilots are now in senior roles within the RAF.

I could always count on losing weight every time I had to wear those hot NBC suits (US Army veteran 1984 - 1988)

When i was i the Royal Navy at Basic in HMS Raleigh i had to wear a NBCD suit and Respirator for a whole day in one of the hottest summers as a punishment for titting about and not doing as i was told by the Chief!

Impressive, I suppose! Could any of these so called `intelligent` people remove and restore DTD5580A polyurethane surface finish coatings, apply national insignia and mandatory markings? Could they f**K!. Garry H. RAF Cpl Painter retired! 😋

Brilliant comment. So could you or any other single cell organisms within your trade fly a BAE Hawk and then move on to combat jets like the Eurofighter Typhoon or the F35?
