It’s amazing how much work is involved with a van conversion. Some unique features in your Crafter and you are clearly putting a lot of thought into the design. Would you consider having privacy glass windows in the the rear doors ? It may help make the van seem bigger. Enjoy you travels and keep safe 👍🏻🚐 Trev
It took alot of planning for how it would work for us but still got alot to do but it's getting there and can still travel in between so we are grateful for that. Not sure about privacy windows in the back as we only sleep up there and if we want to see a view from the back we just open the doors.

Looking great. Just in case you’re needing one, I’ve got a mattress topper for the rib bed. We sold out T6 so no longer need it. It’s from Edge campers.

The design of the rib beds are fantastic. I have a 150 wide version which is huge. Pretty comfy but use a mattress topper to make it less hard.

As an Ex Lorry Driver [Nights OUT] Those Night heaters Can get VERY HOT, I left mine on once to warm up the Cab while i went for Food [NOT Long] Came back and i HAD to open Both Doors to COOL down the Cab Before Jumping in.
Set the temp on dial. Will be what you want then.
Not sure if you have an itinerary, we did Scotland 3 years ago and basically zigged zagged all over the shop because we had no plan. Stay in one area ( west etc ) because it’s so big there plenty to do wherever you are. Beautiful van ( I’ve a T6 ) but what about those tyres, beautiful yes, practical yes but are they noisy ???
We dont think the tyres are noisy at all best decision we made getting them. We been bit of every whilst travelling but your right there is plenty to do wherever you go. West coast is stunning.
Definitely get a compressor fridge /cool box . I have 160w solar panel on my t5 and one battery and my fridge is on for at least 7months of the year . I had a cool box but they kill batterys . Have a great trip .
Yeah we definitely need a compressor fridge. Must have purchase for our next trip and we are considering solar panels too. 😃👍
Good to see how the van is shaping up my key points are as follows:
Put a solar panel on the roof to keep the leisure battery in top condition, but also it can charge your battery bank - and there is a lot of roof space to exploit compared to most campers/motorhomes.
I am glad you clarified the kitchen idea - and agree you need to resolve that - the mobile kitchen is ideal - but consider looking at electric induction hobs - rather than gas - talk to Col at YPT's, he is leading the youtube way on this, but he is slightly ahead of the curve, the one conversion company I would steer people too, are adding induction hobs and a wider variety of electrical input options in their builds. I suspect we all know that gas will probably out see my life, but not those in future years. So just a thought.
And I hope Brooke and yourself do not watch Thor when he has alone time with his girlfriend. 🤔

Thank you. Not measured it but I'm 5ft 9 and fit on it when it's lay down. It's 86cm wide. We are loving the trip missed our travels 😃👍
Love the swamper look, have a look at the Astro AI 22L compressor fridge on amazon, had mine a month and its a game changer, not that expensive either 👍

Awesome conversion, swivel front seats would be a bonus for seating & space, Dometic fridge/ freezer only pull 15w-30w, well done 👍 👏👏

Ha ha konrad getting a crafter. We love ours and all the room it gives you. The design is great we love it. Seat is great really pleased. Scotland is amazing as always visited new places too. You will it in November been planning it already 😃
Looking good guys. I don’t use my gas hob in the van much part from boiling the kettle I don’t want to make a mess in the van with cooking. I use my gas stove, like the one you have and my Cadac. Hardly use the sink either come to think of it, it’s too small and find it easier with my collapse bowl.

Thanks we really pleased with it. We will still cook outside with cooker and we also have a cadac now too. We would only cook certain things in the van. But where we want to the kitchen to be built the door would open filly and the hobs would be at the door if that makes sense. 😃👍
