Great to see Band-Maid back again on this channel, can´t go wrong with these over the top talented ladies :) Everyone of them is unique and are TOP NOTCH! Greetings from Germany
Wooh it's been a while since I saw my favorite maids around here. Their last album is crazy magical, full of bright gems. I'd recommend Manners mv as your next B-M reaction for a change of intensity but equal superb music quality. These women are such rockstars 🤘🕊️
Hahaha they were filming on a cold and rainy day (you can see their breath in some shots). They said the fire ball was quite toasty. Love seeing more and more people loving Band-Maid as much as the rest of us.
Thanks TMA, nice reaction. Still my favorite Band-Maid song. On their fan site there is different angles of the explosion with the Maids in view. They enjoyed the heat as it was cold and rainy that day. Keep'em coming. Peace.
Kanami writes perfect solos. They are always satisfying but leave you wanting more. They always complement the song without becoming distracting or overwhelming the piece as a whole.
Hahahaha, I love it DJ. You got me laughing there at the start on a very busy day. Thanks man! I absolutely love the Akane's drums in this video and I think that its the second fastest in bpm on their new album. You gave me a smile all-around today from that shirt to doing my favorite band! Thanks DJ and hope you are having an awesome week. You are much appreciated by all of us.
As requested by others, could you please explain the instrumental song "Onset" Fans say that "Onset" is the vocalist's toilet time, but it is an instrumental, so the performers play instruments in any style they want. It's a shame that there is no drum solo, but you can react to the girls' true ability and sense of style.
Finally! Haha, great to see you back reacting to Band Maid. I had thought maybe you got tired of them, you kept away for so long. I would love to see you react next to the official live version of "Onset". It's an instrumental.
Great reactions of Band Maid...Would like to see your reaction to one of their songs called "Onset" otherwise known as Saiko's Pee Break (lead singer) as it is an instrumental...I found this band 4 days ago and havent stopped listening to them whether home or on the road...Perfect Rock,Always Fun
In case you didn't know, DJ: Kanami, the lead guitarist, also writes the songs; Miku, the 2nd guitarist, writes the lyrics; Saiki, the vocalists, usually directs and has the final say on many decisions; Akane (A-Ka-Nay) is one of the best rock drummers in the business with her relentless drive, fluid dynamics and the kick. And MISA is rather unique with her alternating pick & slap style with up & down neck runs that not only drive the songs, but adds a counter lead to Kanami's main riffs and solos. Band-Maid has so much talent, personality and creativity that we're lucky to have such a prolific and joyful band (over 100 songs) in our lives. If you haven't yet, try to catch them live!
I remember this Band they came to a BBQ at my house. The drummer stole most of my food & later I found my whiskey was gone. Oh yeah & they broke my new gate.
@@GaryHolloway-810 yup..but not to forget..my fridge was almost empty 😓and my bar just clean as fk...even my fav air Jordan was missing..a set of tea pot from England and a sack of coffee beans specially imported from Hawaii just arrgh..my cute unicorn pillow 😭 nothing left behind ..just empty..i just wanna have a clean house not "cleaning" my entire collection..duhhh
*Temple Music Academy* Looking at your channel looks like you reacted to *Freedom, DOMINATION, After Life and Warning!* which are all great song but for some real fun and go back to 2017 and do some *Secret my lips* for some awesome *Akane* drum fills *Kanami* insane shredding. Keep up the great work on you channel.
That line "I came here to be me" is one of the deepest and most beautiful positive assertions in music lyrics, and it's so astoundingly simple. Real genius composition.
Got to be ages since you've had Band Maid on. Was Freedom live by them, the last one you did ? Got to be well over 6 months ago. Hopefully next one, won't be so far off.
I agree with that fire comment reminds me of the Police aAcademy show in Movie World where a helicopter crashes behind the set and a huge fire ball erupts and I could feel it burning my face from 50 meters away
Oh no, I accidentally learned stuff watching this. Well, no choice left but to come back and learn more stuff next time a BAND-MAID reaction happens. See ya then.
You have to check out Nemophila. An all female Japanese supergroup. Raitei or Dissension studio versions would be good songs to start with. Their drummer Murata Tamu is right up there with Akane from Band-Maid.
I'm coming in a few months later-- and I suspect you are into Japanese things given the, uh, bilingual work you've likely put in. Anyways, there's a Japanese band that does really technical music. So, this is the most recent Japanese reaction video, because of all places, here's probably the most appropriate to put this link on: Ling Tosite Sigure - Abnormalize czcams.com/video/n-4SVb8ZoIU/video.html Unbridled wild, I haven't heard anything like it ever.
We are waiting for the reaction of BAND-MAID! Of course, I also see Japanese people like me. 😁 Japanese comments were a big challenge and impressed. Actually, I also met BAND-MAID and am studying English. Indeed, BAND-MAID is expanding my world.
you need to do band maiko.. I have asked so many times but I really would love to see your reactions to band maids other form. czcams.com/video/NNHGABwme50/video.html
Bro, check out another all girls Metal Band NEMOPHILA songs Raitei (Thunder), Dissension, and HANABIE song MV We Love Sweets, and TRIDENT-JAPAN songs Voltage, No Regret....sure you will love the sound of their drums beat....
Stay away from "aishiteru" and say "daisuki" (dont pronounce the U ). The "aishiteru" is like an intense love thing that basically nobody uses in Japan except drama sitcoms between lovers. lol... "Daisuki" is the go-to term for everything from loving food to loving your parents...and it means to "like" (Japanese people do not really say "i love you"...not even parents to their children) Throwing this out there because I was taught at a bar in Tokyo by local women that were drinking at my table. Live and learn :)
This, glad to see someone pointed it out. It's a very powerful word used very sparingly, if at all. I've heard more than once that it's the kind of thing you say when you're on your deathbed, saying your farewells to your loved ones. Also, love the user name.
In addition to how great the song is, I'd like to point out that they destroyed a Jag and a Caddy to make the video. If that's not rock & roll I don't know what is.
Jimmy Page went backstage to see her in 2016 after they had just gotten started. He said she was the best he had ever seen.
Great to see Band-Maid back again on this channel, can´t go wrong with these over the top talented ladies :) Everyone of them is unique and are TOP NOTCH! Greetings from Germany
Band Maid doing what they do, ROCK! 🎶🎸🥁🎸🎶🔥🙂

As you always praise Akane, the drummer, I strongly reccomend "blooming". Its drums and guiter solo running in parallel is awesome.
Their new album is just AWESOME... I like the new progressive elements in some of the songs!
Hahaha they were filming on a cold and rainy day (you can see their breath in some shots). They said the fire ball was quite toasty. Love seeing more and more people loving Band-Maid as much as the rest of us.
Excellent reaction! I'll second what Bill said. They mentioned that it was freezing cold on location that night, so the explosion was welcome relief.
Thanks TMA, nice reaction. Still my favorite Band-Maid song. On their fan site there is different angles of the explosion with the Maids in view. They enjoyed the heat as it was cold and rainy that day. Keep'em coming. Peace.
awesome group! band-maid rocks!!!!!!

Hi Uncle Davis.👍
Unca See! (Sea?)
That entrance part is referred to as the "Maid Waltz" - it's their walk-on tune for live shows, and Kanami writes a different one for each tour. 🤘😁
Whoop whoop Davis well cool of DJ to do this for you , I loved the video band maid are brilliant, thanku DJ this was amazing love love love it xxx
Great reaction, thumbs up. Warning and Manners are probably my two favorite songs off the new album.
Me too... But No God is growing on me.
As requested by others, could you please explain the instrumental song "Onset"

The entire band is in BEAST Mode here....Miku's backing vocals are my highlight on this tune, one of the best since "Blooming"
Watch Onset, it's an instrumental piece, with emphasis on 'mental'; that gives each musician a little solo time throughout the performance. Enjoy!

They were freezing their tales off for most of this video shoot, so they were looking forward to the explosion. LOL
Kinda sounds like the shoot for Non-Fiction Days. Except Akane singed her outfit getting too close to an emitter for warmth!💪🏻🤘🏻
@@bigbrutalbassbeer410 Yes exactly. They always seem to get caught filming outside in winter. LOL

He means to say the entire World Domination CD. It is classic and close to flawless. Sacramento loves Band-Maid.

I think you need to check out Onset (Live version) to get a chance to hear Misa the bass player, too!!
There's a potentially great progressive metal band trying to emerge from inside Band-Maid. I'll be happy to greet them when it happens. 🤘❤️
As somebody said.. cool ladies don´t look at explosions. Great explanation about pentatonic scale, appreciate it.
"...nor would I try. Ya slightly terrify me". Now THAT was funny! lol. Thanks man!
I like when musicians react to bandmaid, giving bandmaid more credibility
You're a very good reactor. Love your musical insights. Please do more Band-Maid. Subbed.
Thank you Matt! ❤️ and welcome to our family
Please react to Band-Maid's No God and Black Hole next. From the same album, Unseen World, MV's in their YT channel.

MISA MISA MISA!
it was very cold that evening while filming. you can frost coming out of their mouth. so that explosion was probably nice for them
Woot, Unc!
Fun fact. The pentatonic scale is the foundation for traditional Japanese music.
New live video!!!
Thanks TMA!
Love it.

I think that explosion was 90% of the music video budget...
The scale is Hira Joshi I believe, a pentatonic scale common in Japanese music
