Gogo is one of my favorite Gogos. Her wisdom is unmatched. However, I do not agree with someone who thinks when you are on your period you are not pure. She mentioned that a white candle must not be lit by a woman who is on her period. When you are in your woman cycle you are vibrating at your most high. There is absolutely nothing wrong or unclean about that time.

Such an important topic. It would be amazing to have Gogo in conversation with someone more open and liberatory. I find some of the teaching outdated, patriarchal and limiting. I refuse to think our ancestral beings are bound to such. Then again gogo seems like she is from a specific tradition. I'm still concerned about the candles flowing with the river 😕. Is there another way? Also, some people pray using candles in the field, I wish she touched on that as well because I do understand that it takes a while for a candle to burn out completely, it's not practical to wait for it. But what can one do to make sure that their prayers are protected and answered while keeping the environment clean?

Clear quarts work like white candles for purity and can be used for many purposes can program it to what u want it to do for u, just like a white candle this is truly enlightening.
