He dated Rosario for five years & said in an interview that he'd never been in love before. Knew Bey was in for a wild ride atp. The age gap & how young she was when they started, no doubt he put her through the ringer. Shows in her eyes when you look back at pics and performances from over the years. There was a fire in her eyes that's not there anymore. On one song he called her lightning in a bottle & and on his most recent, he said he saw the innocence leave her eyes & he still mourns it's death. Young girls have no business falling in love with men too much older, the heartache is not worth the reward.
Everyone’s innocence leaves their eyes at some point. Usually child birth does that to women. It’s normal.

Definitely felt that way as well. She wasnt into him initially, but then started to like him and it even seemed like she liked him more than he liked her. Many years later and I actually feel they grew into really loving each other.
Somebody once said that it’s important to pass down love as much as money. I never thought of love as something to pass down, but when you think about it…it is so important to marry someone you really love and allow your children to see that love. When two people get together and it’s a healthy situation, it makes a difference.

Their marriage is a business arrangement at this point period. Staying after infidelity means there’s no consequences for the spouse that stepped out. This means it will happen again and again. Beyoncé is doing what she thinks is best based on how she saw her parents deal with growing up. That’s understandable. Waiting ten years for a ring is not something any woman should settle for. She married someone like her father and that’s why her father said what he said about him. The red flags pointed out in this video are valid though.
How often do men like Jay-Z come around? He is a needle in a haystack and she knows it. They already built a legacy together as well. That’s why she’s staying. Beyoncé ain’t about to leave her man to satisfy the onlookers.

To me, there are no blurry lines between red flags and human tendency. Many women who are insecure or lack emotional stability (ie women in this series) will want to believe the red flags are imperfections, and because of that flawed belief, they spend years trying putting up with the behavior or nursing the fantasy that they'll change.

I feel their relationship was a business arrangement. Firstly, Beyoncé wanted to be famous and have a successful solo career …. she knew that by getting involved with Jay z, she would have better connections in the industry. There were too many red flags in this relationship from the beginning(the age difference, the cheating, the constant scrutiny). I love Beyoncé but she should have left Jay z long time ago. I feel that she’s not happy and she’s still hurting. I think this is largely affecting her creativity.

Being a married woman of almost a decade and I’m 29… I understand them a lot. Some red flags are simply personal problems and preferences, and some are wise warnings but it’s between them, God, and their therapist how they maneuver through situations. Marriage is so far more than love.. if it’s not any form of abuse going on, you have to remember your vow to remain through everything and make shit shake. I think their family is their last piece of regular, real life they have left and they fight for it. They’re not exempt or less enticed from bad decisions just because so many people recognize and see them.

Sadly enough when unhappily married couples have their finances intertwined, it becomes difficult to just end the marriage. People build financial stability with someone and to them it’s not worth divorcing them when you know how the financial outcome will be.
