Not saying Heddy didn't deserve the Conn Smythe but damn, Pointer was a beast this playoffs.
It's very fitting that it was the closest Conn Smythe voting of all time. Both Hedman and Point were beasts the entire run

Pointer is definitely one of the most underrated players in the nhl. I think he is atleast top 15 players in the nhl (my opinion).

Hedman was unbelievable, but if I had a vote for the Conn Smythe, Point would be ahead the list.
Hedman got it for both Offense and Defense. I originally thought the same about pointe but Hedman did deserve it
Hedman was insane too. His defense and offense. Plus, he did get 10 goals this playoffs, which is 3rd all time for dman
The real highlight on play #7 is Palat’s tape to tape sauce.
Speed , great hands , great shot , hockey IQ second to only Kucherov. Oh yeah and he is great on defense and face-off s. Also a humble kid who is great in the room. Top echelon NHL player no doubt.
You can also add a Stanley cup winning goal to this as well. What a season. What a player.
Im fan of different team but Tampa is my second team. And Point is my favourite player, even tho my team has some awesome superstars too. Awesome player.
I do not know if it was just me but Brayden Point made my a fan of the Lightning in the Playoffs. He showed the hockey world size does *NOT* matter. Hell even the Lightning could not win without him.

@@matthewstlouis9736 Actually being 176 is not that small. Brayden point is 166 lbs. The most St. Louis put up in the playoffs was 24 points in 25 games, while this past playoffs Point put up 33 points in 23 games. No offense to St. Louis but Brayden Point is the one that has truly shown us that size does not matter as much anymore
