Before my first Android phone, I had a N72 and it was really cool !
I still I have a n97, I use it as an mp3 player.

Using mine till today as a 'pubphone'. Pros: no social media distraction while drinking with friends, not a big loss if I lose it (nobody wants to steal it anyway) still capable camera with xenon flash, ideal in low light pub rooms. And I can call for a taxi when needed.
Lol this is a antique this is worth more then it's original price now. I still have both of my n95 original and n95 8GB and people go crazy for it. Nokia made the best phones hands down! Each of their phones were diffrent and that is rare nowdays every phone looks alike.

I had one back in 08. Had to import it to the US. It was super advanced and had many standard smart phone features. It had video chat even though I couldn't use it. The camera was super advanced and it even had GPS! It was my first all in one device. I still have it in a drawer for nostalgia. One of the greatest phones of all time!
This phone is still amazing !!! I bought this phone in 2008 at sales with 250€ and it was best deal of me that time. The whole experience was incredible,I remember first time when I started the phone inside the store just to be sure that's everything ok...First days with my N82...I can't forget never these days.
From then until now, I've had many other phones, but I've never had that experience in the same way. Apple, Samsung or any other current manufacturers can't offer us those moments you experienced when you got something new from Nokia ... definitely not.
Buying a phone back then was an exciting experience, because every phone was very different :) I can understand the lack of excitement after Nokia stopped making such cool phones.
I have these n series phones in my collection. Real cool phones... Today every phone almost looks the same back then every phone was different

Phone in the past its really unique and cool
Flip phone, sliding phone, phone with qwerty keyboard and slide, and....nokia 7280 and siemens sx1😆😆, both are very unique design
Because of that reason I collect old symbian phone and sony ericsson

I don't think there's any other tune from our generation that is more iconic than the Nokia tune. Each one of us 90's kids has a distinct memory attached to it.
agree but the sony ericsson tune and "hello moto" are both nostalgic too but not in the same league as Nokia tune thats for sure

I still miss nokia and the cravings I had for it...especially the n72 and N95.. always wanted one and by the time I started working the production was stopped and it remained as a dream 😭... Even the costiest iphone can never give that feel or satisfaction that the nokia 1100 or 6600 gave..they are sometin beyond money and materials...it's emotion...every single device with Symbian OS is a beauty ...the best os that I've ever used will be Symbian ..miss nokia phones .. ❤️❤️

Actually it had faster processor than N95. And you can feel it. Symbian pretty much flies on this thing.

Had this phone too. Bought for like 400 in NYC. It was very light. I returned because the e72 was coming out. That Carl Zeiss lens was everything back then.

Remember those days ! Amazing ! The N86 which came after this had even an amoled screen. ! I wish they put the same OS on the budget button phones that they release nowadays !

Nobody can imagine right now a device had an amoled screen on a very small 2.6-inch screen. I used to feel very special those days when I owned that.
Man oh man...didn't use N82 in particular but the feels i just had about N-Series while watching this was just amazing

ah man you hit me hard with this one , this guy was one of my favourite phones ever I get mine back on 2012 (yeah maybe "late"for the game but I was just 21 and barely getting a job at that time so I grab what I can back then and at that time here in this country these phones still more than relevant so having this boy was incredible , the speakers were powerful the camera fantastic , my only personal "issue" was the battery it drains really quick specially when conected to wifi
although I have to say that I was an avid "gamer" on phones back in that time specially in my breaks between classes in the university and yeah the keyboard was unconfortable to typing and (painful as well) but once you get used to it was just epic!

They had Symbian which was quite competent back then. And they were also working on Meego-Harmatann which could've blown the competition away had they released it earlier. Thing was they were too late and gave up too early.

AFAIK they considered it quickly but before they could prepare a project, Microsoft came to, first, pay an exclusive partnership, then buy the brand itself !

man I had a black one of these years ago. one of my favorite phones EVER. I had the black one, and played so many games.
Loved this phone. Had 2 and used as my daily from its release to 2011 when I replaced it with a galaxy S2.

I had the black N82, and it is one of my all-time favorite phones. The screen wasn't really that dim in comparison to what you could get back then.
Something I played a lot with back then was its 3D effect to it's stereo speakers, which you didn't cover.
When i heard vivo is partneering with zeiss optics i immediately remembered my N82 because up till now my pictures in social media from that phone are in so much quality looking like it was taken from a compact sony camera ❤️

I absolutely adored my N73 Music Edition, and was enamored by the N79 owned by my cousin.
Used to drool over the N86 and N95. Heck, I'd still love to get my hands on a black N95 8GB in black, with the sliding lens cover. And the 2 stage camera shutter button was one of the best things on these. Really wish today's phones had that!
These Nokia devices that ran Symbian, such as the Nseries, weren't feature phones, but full-on smartphones.
Bro I used to own N86 which was successor of N82 & they resolved both keyboard & display issue in N86 😁

I wanted one also because of the camera. However....My first Symbian device was the Nokia E61i, then the Nokia E71. (Loved that E71). After Symbian died off, I migrated to Android

I loved this phone. I had 2 of these. I still miss it. Does anyone know the name of soundtracks that plays during slideshow in gallery in N82. Please let me know. I've been trying to find it for soo long now.
Awesome phone, bought mine in 2008 and broke the screen after two weeks lol, quick eBay and replacement screen later and used it through another three or four years. Symbian was pretty good, had a basic Google maps I think, or Nokia's own version which later became Here Maps, as well as other apps like dictionary and language/translation.
