The 1680 Madrid Auto da Fe of the Spanish Inquisition

David Mendoza describes the Spanish Inquisition's Madrid Auto da Fe of 1680. This was the grandest auto da fe in Spanish history, and marked the occasion of the marriage of the Spanish king to a French princess. Members of David's family were amongst the prisoners accused of 'judaising'.
