I came here also from orange commercial and i absolutely fell in love with this song. Wonderful masterpiece. It's so beautiful and frightening at the same time.
Best song and video i can think of to describe my PTSD and the relationships it has ruined. Loving my wife but knowing i was not good enough for her. I was a destructive force.
Song has an end of the world feel to me. Should have known the first time, should have known at the altar girl, should have known the Devil when you saw him.....now run for your life.
I was in a trance when listening to this one, i thought it was an old song long forgotten about, only to be amazed how recent it is. Great rythem and use of instruments!
We came across this song within the week we got married, decided on the spot this will be my wedding march. Almost a year later I listen to this and get the same goosebumps.
holy sh@t i always loved this song/band but the video is amazing too, great imagery really amazing every time i watch this i just want to be in the locations this was filmed, masterpiece 10/10.
I see myself dressed in a fine tuxedo wandering through the deep dark woods at night, with an axe in my hands, not for anything, just for the aesthetic, walking softly listening to this song...
I’ve always loved this song since I heard it on OITNB many years ago, but seeing it in the context of these visuals in this point in time (March 2021) makes me feel like I can relate to both of the characters, as they are equally part of me as I’m trying to find myself again to get back to myself despite all of the immense struggles in this life!!! 💔🙏❤️
The hit series "Animal Kingdom" used this song in their soundtrack for one of the episodes. Great series loosely based off the Australian movie. Ellen Barkin is so badass in that show. She's just badass in general.
I'm not sure what this is but love the song. It almost has a biblical The Rapture feel to it where the world is going to end in fire and a chosen few vanish right before the calamity.
It could mean something broad, but Taylor often sings from the perspective of the abuser or mentally ill. Lay down in the tall grass about a stalker, I’m coming to Paris to kill you about a man on his way to kill a target in Paris, Demon Host about a guy who didn’t save his wife from the fire, Tell Me His Name about a guy threatening his ex girl so he can kill her new beau, it goes on and on. So this fits pretty well in his catalogue of deranged emotionally stunted subjects who has violent intentions towards his wife.
I know I'm late here but I heard this song and magic arrow and loved them both and only recently I realized it's the same band - now this is one of my favorite bands ✨
I don't know why but when I heard this song on "The black list" series and with the help of shazam I was positive this is the song I was looking for that Reminds me A big Separation Anxiety I had in the year 1986 approximately. I was looking for these notes that the woman is singing like opera. So there are two options: one that I traveled tru time to the future, or this song very semiliar to an old one. Pls if anyone can guide me. Its important. Thank you.
Run from me, darlin' Run, my good wife Run from me, darlin' You better run for your life [Verse 2] Run from me, baby Run, my good wife Run from me, baby You better run for your life [Bridge] And each time I see you I contemplate What I love most of all Your swinging gait [Verse 3] Run from me, darlin' Run, my good wife Run from me, darlin' You better run for your life [Outro] Run, run, run, run Run, run, run, run Run, run, run, run Run, run, run, run Run, run, run, run

I'm not sure what the actual meaning of this song is - but i love it. And the video, too.
ntchblLpn it’s about all the nuclear weapon testings in our human history.
