Wreck tour RMS Orissa, 115m deep

  • Sunk by UB-73 June 25, 1918 RMS Orissa now rests at 115m more than 50nm journey from our base in fanny's bay, Donegal. We start and end at the bow of this magnificant ship wreck.
    This dive was much more moody and a great contrast to SS Justica that is 45m shallower, with way more more ambient light due to sunnier conditions and aforementioned depth of water (70m vs 115m) - • A lap of SS Justicia -...

    First you do a trip to Bikini… and than now you’re doing a wreck diving trip to Malin Head…. That’s terrible 😉😁

    Why are these deep wrecks looking like a pile of rubble instead resembling ships?

      They have been blown up, sunk and then survived 100 years in seawater, 2 tides per day and had storms with upto 20m waves in the Atlantic ... amazing how much is left sometimes :)

      Looks pretty ship shape to me, the anchor is still perfectly placed on the stern!
