Just remembered an old trap from Hermitcraft Season 6. Redstone ore under carpets with observers, so that if someone walks on the carpets it drops them into a lava pit. I was thinking you should use the void with stairs and buttons instead of lava :D

tnt minecarts are some of the best traps just make sure to hit him right before to get the heart (around 20 tnt minecarts in the same place will be enough)

So Branzy, yo want to trap RekRap? Well, he would be hard to fool, especially on this server. But my recommendation would be to simply trap everything. Trap every tree around his base, trap the floor of his house. Basically make it so that no matter how careful he is, statistically he will mess up sometime. Also, make sure not to do a voice call or anything like that with him.
Minecarts on the top of trees always do well
Hey Branzy, just letting you know that you have to be weary of how your opponent can hit you while you’re running. Running in a straight line is the best way as everybody runs at the same rate, and if you are always ahead, you won’t get hit. Also, it looks like your sensitivity is a bit high, I suggest using some kind of program or find a tutorial on which sensitivity is best and perfect for you.

But with a 4x4 hole and piston pushing Rekrap up and down and a loads of crafting table on the side of the trap to avoid him to use ender pearls to escape.And after he fell into the trap, you will need fill his top to trap him inside until he's dead.

Parrot and clown = terrifying creatures
When I used to watch parrot, it felt like he was just another random person struggling to kill clown pierce in season 2 while everyone was hunting him down, but now I have realized how wrong I was. He indeed is a terrifying creature, im scared

trapping probably won't work and to beat him you probably would have to surprise him before he has a chance to react, so maybe an entire hotbar full of harming pots will do the trick (hit the hitbox (f3 + b) directly for the most damage)
Edit: Just did some testing and it's necessary to wait a bit before throwing the next potion, because of the damage cooldown

For the trap, we all know rek is really skeptical about everything; But you could trap his base through directions. By videos, and the F3 menu, try to determine what direction he is walking. And then search through the nether roof for a portal on the desired direction. Thank me later
Tbh Rekrap is so skeptical he would have a stasis chamber, i feel you should do one of his old traps which was go invis and use insta damge pots as it goes through armor but not enchants but as it has just started, he probably wouldn't have them yet so this could work as invis pots and insta damage pots aren't expensive, especially as you don't need good armor for this as you can get a pearl or just run away as you are already invis

As for the trap, I am absolutely TRASH at redstone, but as long as your sneaky, then this should work: Follow Rek to the the spot he logs off, invis of course, then, trap the spot he logged off with obsidian and put string and an observer in such a way, connected to a dispenser with armour stands (because when there's armour stands on the same block a player is then the player cannot place or break ANY blocks) or basically do a pit above to void under him with One block that he will stand on that will get moved away by a piston with a block in a position so Rek does not move with the block and a player detecting system to know when he logs back on :)
For someone who is "trash" at redstone, you seem to have a very in depth detail of the trap

i am quite experienced in minecraft and have been wanting to join the lifesteal smp, but i think you should always ambush with 3+ people and for traps make sure rekrap doesn't expect it!!! i would also always recommend void traps

You should do some dripstone launcher trap. Great for early game because it’s cheap and effective.
Go to the nether and get blaze rods to craft strength, regeneration, swiftness, weakness, and slowness. Try to get them all to be stronger and not longer. Next, when you see him, use the cobwebs again and throw weakness and slowness on him, and fight him in a one-on-one. Hopefully someone else will be able to see/hear you from your team and help you.

Use dripstone leaf to trap clown and rek in an obsidian 1 by 1 hole. Then pearl out of there and they will take a lot of damage from the dripstone leaf. If they had a totem it would pop. The deeper the dripstone leaf is, the most damage they would take. Make an escape route so you dont get cornered if they escape
Do you mean dripleaf or dripstone? The problem with that is that they would not just stand on a dripleaf and can just pearl to avoid the fall damage.

Now with the final edit; if you can, practice 1 hitting Rek with an ender crystal. You should know Badboyhalo used that to win the latest Manhunt, so practice placing and switching between both the obsidian and the crystals if you ever find yourself in a 1v1 against him ever again as a last resort-

Tipp:
Use a trap that kills the player using Lava but put a minecart-hopper under the Lava to collect the stuff! It makes the enemy think they have lost their gear but you have full access to it and they won't suspect anything
The problem is that they are all full diamond enchanted at least after 2 Days, so lava can't really kill them

Get full netherite and protection 2-4. Then make a team so you can stay safe, get potions and a good sword and axe (sharpness 3 or 4) and try and void trap him but it might be risky
On the first 1 week of lifesteal netherite and pots arent allowed to make it more interesting

Love your videos Branzy, my trap idea is channeling tridents on pistons with a redstone clock behind them. :)
Dig a drop tube covered with a pufferfish powered trapdoor and build a nether portal at the bottom, then build a tripwire and piston system to push him in the portal and cover everything with honeycomb blocks, and build a inter-dimensional red stone signal transporter to the nether. On the nether side, dig a deeeeeeeeeep hole, next to the portal, then make a mechanism that breaks and pushes rek out of the portal and into the drop chute. The drop chute should be clutch proof, so it should be at most a 1 by 2 hole and the walls should be covered in banners. Now, you only have to entity cram him with hopper mine carts to collect his items.
This is my own idea by the way, and I would greatly appreciate it if you can make it happen.

a year later and these guys are yet again the best friends
Use the new caves and the strip mining or one block mining technique to get diamonds. Then make a makeshift gold farm in the nether(idk if it is allowed) or find gold in the nether as it is currently the best way but do it only with a silk touch pick as one nether gold ore when mined with silk touch caan be smelted into an ingot but if mined normally,it gives 3-4 nuggets. Then set up a villager trading station with your team as it is the best way to get enchants and most importantly apples. Golden Apples are mostly consumed as the main food when in intense pvp. Then brew pots and set off to the nether for netherite.If you make the gold farm then use the exp to enchant or just buy books from villagers and use the trading exp to anvil the enchants. Idk much about how to enchant so be sure to check out to find the most efficient way to enchant. So the four things are :- Diamonds>>Diamond Gear and Tools>>GOld>>Trading Hall>>Apples , enchants ,exp and emeralds>>Potions>>Netherite. ALso EXP farms can be made by using furnace arrays as furnaces drop xp when items are smelted in them. Mumbo Jumbo Uses Furnaces as his xp source in Hermitcraft 8 .

And to trap Rekrap, You will need to make a plan with your team to join him and then betray him, there is no other way
you can never bait rek into a trap just make something unexpected
YOU CAN MAKE TREES EXPLODE WHEN YOU MINE THEM COMPLETELY UNDETECTABLLY WITH THIS METHOD
You could make it so that a tree he mines explodes (a great way to stay on brand). Have a piston push the blocks of the center of the tree (it needs to be 12, the push limit, otherwise the piston can successfully extend. Because of this you may need to have extra blocks between the piston and the tree). When a block is mined, the piston will then be able to push up and that is detectable by an observer. You can then have a basic tnt minecart trap attached to that and BOOM Rekrap2 exploded.
A quick warning though: don't make it to obvious though. Rekrap is great at avoiding traps and will want to use replay mod. He might also see this comment.

Literally just betray your own team to make a alliance with clownpierce, and then slaughter rekrap. Then before you do this make sure your team agrees with the plan.
It’s where you put slime blocks below someone and keep launching them up. And even if someone has a efficiency 5 netherite pickaxe you still can’t break the powder snow
not sure how safe this is or how long it would take but what you could do is challenge him to fight on a massive mountain, get a max knockback sword but keep it hidden and flex your iron sword on him and really confuse him. then go near the edge and when he goes to knock you off, ender pearl behind him, quickly switch to your knockback sword and knock him off yourself. if he manages to survive the fall via water or other you'll have plenty of time to get away before he comes back for revenge. if that seems too risky for your liking, I'll come up with another idea no worries
This is not even necessary this is not a good idea they can survive through water bucket and also branzy is not a pro at doing these kind of clutches. And there is also less chances that he could ran away that easily. My idea for a trap is that he could build an entity cramming machine which deals a lot of damage or a pufferfish detector trap or portal trap or bed bombing in the nether or just via harming potions or tnt minecarts. There are a lot more traps that you can use.
well ive done it against a couple of my mates who are pretty good and its worked really well, and while theyre falling and focusing on hitting the water bucket i pearl back down behind them and pretty easily finish em off with a weakness and harming/poison pot, and if i need to ill use strength on myself
i just think it would be worth a shot
oh also if you manage to get your hands on a bunch of iron, tnt and a silk touch pickaxe you could use an invisible, instant bomb
just put the redstone ore under a one layer thick snow, have an observer facing the redstone ore with redstone underneath the observer connected to powered rails with a bunch of tnt minecarts, then if you get in a fight with him start running towards it, and either try to make it so rek will set it off, which probably wont work, but if it does at least youll live, or wait for him to get close then set it off yourself killing both you and rek in the process, as long as hes close enough to it. you could also use a target instead of redstone ore and when he runs close to it just quickly shoot it like an end crystal trap
or just have part of your team rush him up front and two other divisions of your team come up behind from his back left and back right

Find his base but dont let him know that you have. Use boats or minecarts in one spot to entity cram him under his door, you could also do the armor stand trap that rek says in his video
Maybe a powdered snow trap but then make it so there’s pistons under that constantly pull and push back so he can’t mine blocks and force him to give you 3 hearts

one trap i thought of is lure him into a desert and spleen him into one of those instant kill traps with minecarts. or lure him somewhere and then jump out at him.

use reks strengths and weaknesses to your advantage.
THE BUILD: rek is careful, so make a room with an elevator. most of the room but one block will be trapped, the elevator will be trapped but one block (the block you will be standing on) will NOT be trapped. whisper to one of your teammates to pull the lever when rek is standing on any trapped block, and the elevator and every block (except for your block) will do any trapping feature.
THE STRATEGY: like normal, bring rek into a house/room, and tell him to go to an elevator. he probably will start talking and WONT go in, but he wont know that the block he is standing on is already trapped.
THE BACKUP: just in case this doesnt work, have teammates in the roof (if theyre willing) with a good axe, and have them land atleast 1 hit on rek, and this should kill him.
(P.S if this works say piglord is a master tactician)
I can't promise you can trap him but if you find where he keeps his bed you can simply tnt trap it? Or you could work together with your teammates and bedtrap him so he gets respawned in the void. These seem basically impossible though, rekrap is a smart guy.

Ok, trap. I got a few of those. As powdered snow if more common now, make a trap using pistons pushing him up and down, that way he cant break out. If this doesn’t make spence, look up powdered snow trap
For revenge say you “found Steve” at a desert temple and put a trapped chest with a sign in front of it saying something like for rek my friend? And put a tnt under it with signs so when he opens it he falls in a hole, I think you know where I’m going. Also I love your vids! Keep up the good work
You need to use a tactic in witch you can put him In an obsidian room an then spawn camp him after killing him to hopefully ban him, also have a statis ready far away so if clown or parrot comes you can get out quick

You could build a tower with tnt launchers and more stuff, fully controled by foxes and goats. At the Echocraft server.

Trap the End. If you get there first, you can build a box around the end spawn and bed bomb him whenever he comes through.
Hi Branzy, the only way you can kill rek is by out numbering him, out gearing him or beating him in pvp. Because this is a lose heart server, he will be much more on guard then in any other server. So traps will only work after the war.
And it will be hard to trap the man all about traps
Just thought it would be funny if I suggest this to both sides. I call it the “Flamboyant Armageddon Implying Love and Unity or the F.A.I.L.U. You get one person to take every member of the team’s hearts, leaving each person with 1-6 hearts and one juggernaut with 30-40 hearts. The juggernaut can fight with the hearts while the donors hide thousands of blocks away. When the battle is finished, everybody can kill the juggernaut and get their hearts back. The only drawback of this plan is the amount of trust and integrity it requires. I would get ClownPierce to be the juggernaut since he would wreak havoc on the other team, but one thing you would need is to be on his good side as the amount of times you have to kill him would make it impossible to stop him if he decides to go rouge. Pros and cons weighted though, it is a liable strategy. I would also suggest getting some people from the other side to betray their team to contribute some hearts.

Try getting him to fall into a hole with drip stone at the bottom… out buttons on the side of each block so he can’t clutch
Tip to get better at pvp turn fov up to around 90 to 110 and get really good at tracking players and hitting them. You might need to change your sensitivity but it’s mostly about whatever works for you

My recommendation is to present him with a peace treaty, he'll be super sus of you but then just make it totally legit. After he trusts you offer to make him a trade, then trap him with a piston trap (the inescapable one) then just kill him and get your heart back.
begin combat on rek, use a speed pot, run to stronghold and into end, then run like 10 blocks foward and when he comes into the end use a bow to blow up the end crystalsyou placed before doing this plan.
You can make a trap by using tnt minecarts under your door in a base you can make with an observer so when he opens the door it explodes and kills him.
For how to get him to open the door tell one of your teamates to say that the also betrayed you and then he will tell him the coords of your base and then it's done. :)

Is there a desert around? try to sand trap rek, then entity cram him. remember not to make the sand trap completely flat.

Try getting him to meet you in the end but do not go in. Drop a dripstone into the portal and don’t go in. Tell him your in there and when he goes in the chunks will load making for a instant kill.
