The best hand warmers I feel are the “Hot hands” brand. They have various sizes and also ones that have a sticky backing so you can stick them to clothing or sleeping bags or whatever. I work in a -20 cold storage facility and they definitely help.
Those are the ones I used in the Army. I would stuff my sleeping bag with them or keep them in my pockets during the day.

Definitely agree! They last forever! I hunt and I'll be in the woods from 4 30 am until sundown and they stay hot the entire time. I'm talking 12 hours easily
I use warmers which is powered by my powerbank. Can also adjust the degree of heat emitted. Pair of heated socks lasts about 4 hours on a 10k powerbank.

Tools for his Adventures and every once in a while he solves his issues using different methods such as different stuff to keep him warm at night which gets me to click on his video.

Yeah, for the first 13 years of my life I lived in the desert directly below Big Bear so all the cold air sank right to us. Every morning I'd have to go break the thick ice layer in the horses water barrels.

Chicken fajitas is one of the best meals ever created. Also if you actually want to use the hand warmers I suggest getting the body warmers. They attach to your clothes so the heat stays with you rather than falling off.

When you slide stuff off your "cutting board" flip the knife upside down. You wont have to sharpen nearly as often 😁

When the cast iron gets seasoned you can add some water to de-glaze the pan and wipe it clean, and chicken never sticks to a well seasoned pan.
At least your approach to pan seasoning was nice but dam the pan seasoning will never end

Mav, love ur channel, have actually researched this, much like you have, trying candles under pots, the Mr. Heaters, etc.
Then I watched this YT documenting the Army Corp of Engineers’ quest to improve the troops’ extreme cold weather apparel.
They put on their best gear and went into walk-in freezers until they couldn’t take it anymore.
Infrared footage showed mad heat loss. They started putting heat in various areas of the body and were astonished to learn that heating the extremities wasn’t as useful as heating vital organs, specifically the heart and kidneys? (Right above the waistline on both sides of the back).
The infrared showed times where they didn’t even need gloves.....amazing!
So my experiment began with taking each individual hand warmer package lengthwise and wrapping 2” blue painters tape across the back, then across the front.
Then, when I’m ready for bed, I pull the tape off, extract the warmer, shake it and affix the middle of the tape to it, then place them on either side of my lower back and across my heart, over one layer of clothing.
I usually wear a hoodie so I put one behind my neck and one in my pillowcase in the middle.
This has been the best solution for me. Some claim they have been burned but I have not had this problem and I’ve done this a dozen times.
I am on a email list at Big 5 and about once a quarter,they gone on sale between anywhere between $7-$10 for a big bundle. Also sold in bulk at the Sam’s and Cisco’s

I did the same thing in 10 degree weather in an open tent. 30 degree sleeping bag. I put 10 in. It worked great. Terrific hack. Really enjoy your experiment videos.

I did vanlife for a while. Spent a lot of time in Colorado. Most of the Walmarts in the state don't allow overnight parking, just a heads up. In the rural areas you should be fine, but anywhere within maybe an hour of Denver is a no go.

I just made the road trip from Minnesota to Aspen Colorado last week. We got stuck there for a couple extra days because of that storm but it was worth it! Check out aspen while you’re out there. It’s a super cool town 👍
