On This occasion a few Hornby Dublo items looked very attractive for the price.

Wow... that is a classic. I do not know if it is a classic to collectors, but a 64-year-old set in great condition, as a toy collector, that's a classic.
Thanks Anthony.
I think that you are right.
A full set in great condition and a good price is indeed worth having. 👍
Very nice find. Look forward to seeing these run after they get serviced. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks John.
The great thing about these old girls is the ease of servicing.
They'll be a great addition to my collection I think. 👍
Hi Mon.
Lovely little set.
Trouble is I feel my age now had something similar when I was a ankle biter. I loved it.
Thanks for sharing buddy.
....Pete....
Thanks Pete.
Glad you liked it.
Yeah, it seems to bring back memories for a few people on the channel. 👍
Hello Mon, they are looking good. I know my dad has some Hornby Dublo. Take care Karl and Debbie
Thanks Karl.
More items to feed the Model Train Addiction. 😄
Happy Modelling
Haha. Watch out these are addictive.
I started with a dublo train set about 18 months ago.
Now I have 3 two rail train sets.
A large 3 rail layout and about a dozen locos and probably 40 pieces of rolling stock.
Plus a load of the cast metal stations, signal boxes etc.
They are wonderful things to own.
Easy to service and very often you buy non runners for pitance and usually they just need a clean, a drop of oil and to remagnetise the motor magnet to get them running like new.
You are going to love the simplicity of it all. Like I said very addictive. 🤣
Have fun.
I already know this of course.
I have 5 Layouts already.
N Gauge, Tri-ang TT, Tri-ang Series 3 and 2 Hornby System 6 layouts. 😅
@@monsvillerailways5736 Arent these old things fun though. 😊
So much so I've forsaken all my modern built stuff.
Looks very good acquisition to me.. Good vid too
Thanks Mike.
Can't complain about more Hornby Dublo items in the collection.
Happy Modelling 👍
Just jumped on over to you after seeing Andy mention you on Shelvinton. The 060 tank goods train set, I had that when I was a kid. In fact, the loco and wagons and guards van are in a shoe box in the wardrobe, I really must get round to digging it out. I doubt it will run, but I can pose it on my grandson's model railway. He might even film it for his Dylington Model Railway channel at some point, I don't know if you've seen any of his videos he's doing a decent job of filming it. Anyway, we've enjoyed watching a few of your videos and have subscribed... Cheers James
Thanks James.
The Hornby Dublo motors are very reliable and easy to service. The loco from the set has a motor very similar to Tri-ang ones that are even easier to service and maintain.
Thanks for the Channel suggestion.
I'll check it out. 👍
Welcome aboard.
@monsvillerailways5736 I hope you enjoy my grandson's videos, we have turned off the comments for his protection due to his age (12). However, they are two of them that have comments left on. The Accident and the Dylington Christmas video, or if you want to pass a comment you could do on here, just mention the name of the video you're commenting on... Cheers James 🙂👍
I always thought Hornby Dublo was 3 rail , I used to have one in the 50's . Hope you get them running ok .
They were mostly 3 rail but the 2 rail version was introduced in 1959.
Thanks for watching.
