Look at when he came on today arsenal went straight to playing a high line and constantly pressing him which allowed for Bruno and Erikson to just send a through ball or a pass to rashford. Ronaldo was almost acting like a decoy to make space for rashford and it worked extremely well

In the second half, we (Arsenal) played well until the 2nd United goal. Despite this, because of the way we defended for their 2 second half goals, we deserved that result today - braindead defending like that - you can’t defend like that against a team we know is going to try and feed off it and they clearly did.

Even after this game I don’t think we able to compete for the title yet. However, there are certainly massive improvements (especially in defence). Really waiting for the game where we concede first and play against “park the bus” team, as this was always a problem after Fergi left. But for now I have massive trust for ETH and looking forward to see next game! Go on reds! ❤️👹

“Dominated” is a massive over exaggeration. You had 3 shots on target and a lot of possession. You rarely looked like scoring.
It was like the United vs Liverpool game in that you both dominated possession (not the match) but United were the better team and always looked more dangerous on the attack.

If it weren’t for arsenal’s desire to win United wouldn’t have scored those last 2 goals. The last 2 goals was because arteta didn’t want to settle for a draw. Instead he pushed his defence up too high and it cost arsenal the game.

It’s just high stakes football played by a very young team. That’s all .. there’s a reason Liverpool and City play a high line, because that has proven to most consistently accumulate points .. but you leave yourself open. The nature of the game, and it served us well for 5 games out of 6.
Arsenal were overall the more impressive team just lacked conviction in the final third with probing around the box and messing up clear cut chances, United were set up better and hit us on the counter attack with a defence/midfield not able to cope with it. I'm still confident with our overall potential for the season to finish in the CL.
