- Tycoon games are really fun to play if you’re the kind of person who likes to build and manage various cities, transport lines, zoos or theme parks. This gaming genre already requires a lot of patience and dedication but some of the projects invented by some players really topped any of our expectations. In conclusion, today’s video is going to be showcasing 5 instances when people really took tycoon games way too far and created amazing things in the process.

Living Sandwich Well the longest one was made to mess around with the fact that in Roller Coaster tycoon flat ground decreases your speed as time goes on, but you can never reach zero, so it was purely a novelty thing for that, but i have no clue what was really that special about the Maglev rail having never played the game

He did make some pretty unsignificant examples. The only one that really raises an eyebrow is the Los Santos one.

What annoyed me was that he didn't mention why it was exceptional: the coaster keeps getting slower and it would take 210 days for the ride to complete.

Yeah, the longest rollercoaster was pretty stupid to put here. As an avid player of C:S, why did he include the Superblocks as “ too far “ . I guess my highway systems should be put up here too.

The Superblocks made no sense to be on here. When me and my brother used to play Simcity was back in the day on Super Nintendo that is always how we built the cities. In blocks like that with no roads only mass transit. Guess we were insane and taking the game way too far...
The Los Santos build is only mildly convincing from a big distance. Once you zoom in it's a disaster

Like, the alien one is amazing, the amount of talent and time they took to make some of these is insane. But that spiral in a game decades ago, needs a mention for a gamer that goes too far.

I used to play RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 a lot. That was until I pretty much broke the game trying to recreate the Fallout 4 map. Then again my Skyrim themed park went down rather well with the community

DerPixelPanda You forgot ffrct and the master of Vanilla (no Custom Content) RCT3 Alloria who I'd put as #1 personally. Also if you go to r/rct you'll come across Lord Marcel, he too has taken RCT too far making a roller coaster with 90+ excitement.
I've never really been into RCT, that's why I just put every other youtuber (/everyone else) that does tycoon games in a creative way.
But it wasn't really in a set order anyway ^^

You should do one of these for some of the amazing factories the Factorio community has made, some truly massive gigafactories have been made (so big that even on the best of PCs they run quite slow, despite the devs considerable efforts to make the game run as efficiently as possible).
I appreciate that you didn't stretch this out for ten minutes, and instead presented the information well and quickly.

The bias for Rollercoaster Tycoon is strong in this one. XD
I don't feel that Micro Park counts as that's a legitimate scenario in Roller Coaster Tycoon. It's the final one in the second expansion pack.
As for the others the spiral rail didn't impress me that much, but the sim city ones where amazing to look at.

GTA 5 is the city which is los santos. San andreas is the state including the knock off san fran, vegas, and la.

Video is a fail, city building games are not tycoon games.
You use currency to create buildings in order to keep up with needs and you get a bonus in money for meeting these needs, which you can use for upgrading your buildings which can lead to more profit, or downfall.

I used to have an old copy of Railroad Tycoon. I made a super sharp, steep hill and dip combo so that the engine and carriages were separated completely or disappeared into a hole in the ground ;p

That Micropark in RollerCoaster is actually a legit park in the first game. Your objective is precisely to build a park within that little square. Lot's of people have done that

If my school hadn't re-imaged my computer before I finished it, I could've been on this list with an extremely long RCT3 coaster I was working on. It was 45 minutes long at the time, but my goal was to make it 1 1/2 - 2 hrs long.
Creatively shaped cities are a real thing. Brasilia was originally airplane-shaped and Ciudad Evita, Argentina was built in the shape of the profile of Eva Peron, hence the name.
I feel like that train network in the outro is probably much cooler than crazy spiral tho.
