I have fished that river on many occasions. Out in straboe area. I use to get my hooks and so on in the shop over the bridge. Nice chap ran the shop. Just cannot remember his name off hand. He had a beard. I was fishing one day and was getting nothing but a salmon was perching out of the water and the man from the shop came along and I told him about it. He was fishing for trout and you strike a trout but you let a salmon take the fly. On his first cast the salmon took his fly but he struck rather than let the salmon swallow the fly and missed it.
