In the heart of this land there is a place that looks like a vast blue lake, due to the peculiarity of the Gulf of Evia and the opposite mainland coast! An unexplored resort that offers tranquility, crystal clear waters, untouched nature, unique architectural environment, delicious local food!

It is located about two and a half hours north of Athens and has 2000 permanent residents. Limni is an ancient city with a rich history. Ancient Elymnio flourished here from the classical years to the Middle Ages.
It is built amphitheatrically at the foot of Mount Kandili. From the very first glance you will be impressed by the narrow alleys, the beautiful port, the coastal boulevard with its terraces, taverns and restaurants on the waterfront, full of delicious smells. The view of the bay of Evia is amazing! It is no coincidence that it is one of the most beautiful traditional villages of the second largest island of Greece - Evia!
Unforgettable will be the experience of touring the alleys of Limni, where the neoclassical architecture of most buildings is of the 19th and 20th - century. The numerous picturesque streets of the area, reminiscent of a labyrinth, maintain a paved image and end up in wonderful courtyards of two-storey houses with blooming with beautiful flowers and lemon trees. Head to the western end of the waterfront of Limni on a narrow cobbled road that leads to the hermitage of Saint Christodoulos and his homonymous church. Very close to the rock, in the cave where the Saint practiced, you will see a very beautiful stone building, which was the old slaughterhouse of Limni and now houses the Scout Club. Do not miss the small church of Zoodochos Pigi "Panagitsa", which is built on the ruins of an early early Christian basilica in a small square inside the lake. In the lower part of the current chapel there is a part of an arched room with a mosaic floor that dates to the late 5th to early 6th century AD.

Ποιος το περειμενε ενα τόσο ομορφο μέρος να εξελιχθεί καμένο!!! 😢😢😢😢 όπως όλα τα αλλά μέρι της Ελλάδας πολύ όμορφη πάντως στο βίντεο!!! Ισως έρθω κάποια στιγμή
Οποιος έχει την δυνατότητα θα ηταν χρησιμο να επισκεφθεί την Βόρεια Εύβοια, ακομα και τώρα, για συμπαράσταση και αλληλεγγύη. Απειλείται με ερήμωση.
Αλλωστε υπαρχουν κάποιες περιοχές, εστω και λίγες, που γλιτωσαν απο την καταστροφή
@@TourismosTravelGuru όλη η υπόλοιπη Εύβοια κεντρική και νότια στηρίζουμε το νησί μας, τον παράδεισο μας, και θα ερχόμαστε παρέες στη βόρεια Εύβοια να πάρει ξανά ζωή. Δεν μας σταματα τίποτα. Το νησί θα ανακάμψει θέλουν δεν θέλουν!!!!
Προσωπικά δεν έχω καταγωγή από Εύβοια, όμως την επισκέπτομαι συχνά τα τελευταία 30 χρόνια από τότε που έφτιαξαν ένα εξοχικό οι δικοί μου. Την αγαπώ απεριόριστα και θα συνεχίσω να πηγαίνω μέχρι να γίνει μόνιμος τόπος κατοικίας στο μέλλον. Θα παλεύω με ότι μέσα διαθέτω για την στήριξη του τόπου αυτού και την ανάδειξη του προβλήματος. Είναι η χειρότερη καταστροφή που άφησαν να γίνει στην Ελλάδα. Σε ευχαριστώ πολύ που σκέφτεσαι έτσι, χρειαζόμαστε περισσότερα παιδιά σαν εσένα. Να είσαι καλά!

Κρίμα για τον κόσμο που έχασε τα πάντα. Άυριο ξημερώνει Δεκαπενταύγουστος, η γλυκιά μας Παναγία να τους δώσει δυναμη και κουράγιο. Θέλουμε να βοηθήσουμε τους αδελφούς μας εκεί. Δυστυχώς όμως δεν ξέρουμε αν θα φτάσει, η βοήθειά μας σ'αυτους ή καταλήξει κάπου αλλού!

Από τα ποιο όμορφα μέρη στην Εύβοια, με τον Όσιο Δαυίδ, το μοναστήρι του Αγίου Ιακώβου Τσαλίκη. Τέλειες παραλίες και φαγητό, πολύ ωραίος οδηγός.

Εύβοια πανέμορφο μέρος !!!!! Η πιο όμορφη διαδρομή που έκανα ποτέ για να πάω Πευκί του χρόνου θα έρθω να κάνω διακοπές να φυτέψω με τα παιδάκια μου ένα δεντράκι να βάλω κ εγώ το λιθαράκι μου εκεί !!!!! Να πάμε όλοι εκεί διακοπές να βοηθήσουμε τους ανθρώπους να φυτέψει ο καθένας κάτι σε αυτό το λυπηρό πια τοπίο
Συγχαρητήρια για το σχόλιο, ειναι ενας πολυ ομορφος και σωστος τρόπος σκέψης. Σε λιγες μερες θα επισκεφτώ και παλι την Βόρεια Εύβοια. Φοβάμαι με οσα θα αντικρίσω, ομως μαθαίνω οτι τα μερη που δεν επηρεαστηκαν απο την φωτιά εχουν αρκετο κοσμο για τα δεδομένα της περιοχής

Μια από τις χιλιάδες συνέπειες της καταστροφής αυτής είναι ότι η φύση και η γεωγραφία της Εύβοιας πάντοτε ρύθμιζε το κλίμα της Αττικοβοιωτίας. Ο παράδεισος που αφέθηκε να καταστραφεί έκρυβε πολλά περισσότερα από όσα νομίζουμε. Η θλίψη δεν έχει όρια, δυστυχώς

Είδα το βίντεο και έκλαιγα....
Πέρυσι σχεδόν τέτοια εποχή όταν έφτιαχνα το συγκεκριμένο βίντεο, δεν μπορούσα να φανταστώ ότι θα προκαλούσε τέτοια συναισθήματα, μετά από την τεράστια καταστροφή που έγινε. Κανείς δεν περίμενε ότι ολόκληρη η Βόρεια Εύβοια θα γινόταν στάχτη. Λυπάμαι αφάνταστα και η ψυχή μου έχει μαυρίσει. Πρέπει όλοι μαζί να αντιδράσουμε και να βοηθήσουμε
