I heard a girl sing this in a bus. Although she didn't know that most of the people where looking at her until she noticed. But when i arrived at the bus stop i asked what the song was i looked it up when i was home and i fell in love with this song ever since.
this song, originally wrote by John Lennon and Paul McCartney was a protest against racial segregation in the U.S. education systems, is honored timelessly and with infinite grace by Sarah's angelic voice. if you know the history, music becomes so so SO much more beautiful to the listener's ears. . thanks for reading, it's never too late to change your stars in this world, and may god bless you on your journey through life.
This is the song you listen to in the afternoon when the sun is about to set outside your balcony where you could either feel the chilly warm feeling when night time is approaching.
My language arts teacher from last year sent me this video saying that she thought of me when she played this song at the beginning of her class.. this is why you should appreciate your teachers. It doesn't matter who you are you're a special student to them and you should be grateful for that. I told her that when I get older and I start making my own music maybe my songs will be played at the beginning of classes.
I'm here just because this is just a Beatles' song..Sarah and the one in the guitar made it perfect...Congrats. to you both guys...Greetings from São Paulo.
I learned guitar for two years when I just started high school, I haven’t practiced regularly for years and yet there’s two songs I distinctively remember loving playing, one was Scarborough Fair, and the other was Blackbirds. I’ve decided to try and pick up the guitar again and is going through my old sheet music, it was like riding a bicycle, rendering how a tune goes and some of the hand positions. Thank you for giving such a lovely memory
Oh god, I’m scared to go watch it. I know it’ll make me cry, but I only watched a handful after season 5 or 6 so I’m not sure if I’ve seen it. This is one of those songs that will probably always cause that reaction in me. Is it this cover?
I know it's been two years since your comment but I also know pain doesn't just disappear. It's been 19 years since my Dad died when I was 15. I miss him everyday. I just hope you are coping and I wanted you to know that living you life with passion and love and hope would be the best way to keep your Dad's legacy going. All the best darling 🤗
_I Am Sam_ and _Boss Baby_ for me, in that order. For the longest time, whenever I heard this song I got an image in my mind of little Dekota Fanning running away from her foster home back to her dad in her cute little nightgown.
This song was the in memorandum for the Oscars the year the world lost Leonard Nemoy. His voice at the end brought me to tears and pushed me to find the song Blackbird is now part of my soul
I've loved this song forever but was reminded of it by boss baby. 💜 and now it's my two toddlers "special song" And they have to hear it everynite at bedtime.
WOW this brings back a big wave of nostalgic memories of my childhood, I'm not sure what possessed me to search for this song at 10:00pm but I'm glad I did
Guitar Lesson assignment brought me here. This is the first song I am learning to finger pick on guitar and I excited to have it mastered like how she did it in this song!😊
I was put through psychological trauma throughout my entire childhood my my Mom. Constant gaslighting, manipulation, name calling, cuss outs, threats, raising her hand like she would hit me, or pulling her leg back like she would kick me, and getting upset with me for flinching saying “I’ve never hit you before, grow the fuck up,”, cutting off all my communication with my friends and boyfriend, sometimes for months, getting mad over the smallest things and lecturing and yelling about me for hours, and I’ve recently come to figure out she wasn’t letting me stay the night with my favorite Aunt or letting me be alone in a room with her because she didn’t want me to open up to my Aunt about everything, (I figured this out through recently talking to my Aunt about everything), when I graduated high school a week or two ago, this song is exactly how I felt. This song has helped me through a lot.
My best friend is going thru alooot and she sings this to her son that she can't get her son back and shes going thru a lot. And I sit here and I wonder like she has been so tough going thru alooot. And I love my best friend
I have been listening to this song for years, not knowing that the Beatles originally wrote and performed it. I also did not know it was written as an homage to Black women, after Paul visited the US and saw the mistreatment being meted out to them (in the 60's). He was so moved that he wrote this song. BTW - 'Bird' is the word for women back then. GREAT song.
Me... That's the song I sing to my baby. I just need a woman to sing while I'm in the bathroom. I don't know this Sarah. But she helps with my baby. 😅😂
@@pleasedancewithme538 oh that’s amazing!! My full name is Anyssa, but so many people use Nyssa (my nickname) so it’s usually what I go with! But that’s awesome! Dude I haven’t really ever met someone with similar name to mine!
@@Moonbean23 I LOVE the name Anyssa it's so pretty, and yeah I met one other like 5yo with this name once but it's p rare! Hope you're doing good name homie 🥰
So what if they find it from a movie? Half of my music comes from songs I've heard on on TV shows or movies. It doesn't make you any less of a fan of a song or an artist if you came across it or them due to a movie.
