DeMar is a huge addition. Possibly the biggest FA signing in franchise history imo. He's also going to have a huge impact on the younger guys. He truly tries to teach them game.
At this point of their careers DeMar is better than both. PG is super inconsistent and can't be counted on in the playoffs and Klay is a shell of what he used to be. DeMar still putting up similar numbers to 5-6 years ago. A walking bucket. I think this makes us a threat that could go on a run but if we could add Kuzma or another solid 4 that will make us undeniable championship contenders.

You're missing keon Ellis and Devin Carter. Kings still need another big wing to help Keegan and Sabonis but DeMar doesn't make the defense worse than last year

DD is literally no worse than HB and better in almost every way offensively by a big margin. Top 5-8 defense post asb 14th overall despite being near the bottom until asb, they will be fine and Monte isn’t done
Our defense has improved, if anything. Now that deebo is out there, he can get buckets that fox and crew would normally have to try and clutch out, which gives them more breather, and more energy to be there on the defensive end. And I think it's gonna be really noticeable going into asb, having that extra reliable scorer just making your team better in the endurance run.
He fits our culture well. And he seems like he's genuinely looking forward to playing with the rest of the team.
