I often have a problem with moving heavy things, that's why I decided to build a workshop crane. The crane is made of thick profiles, so the whole structure should withstand heavy loads.
I have a chinese crane and when I wanted to lift a small milling machine from a pallet with it, it came out the legs of the crane could'nt run under the pallet (too much width) , so I had to cut the legs, give'em a new angle, and reinforce'em. Afterwards it worked like a charm. Conclusion : think to what you want to handle (material on pallets ?) with your crane to give it the right dimensions.
I'm happy to say that my decision to watch a channel first recommended by CZcams in October of 2020, *is still paying off* in December. Well done; and *Merry CHRISTmas to you and your family.*
Overall, this is a highly informative and enjoyable video for anyone interested in engineering. It showcases your talent and expertise while providing valuable insights and inspiration to fellow enthusiasts. Keep up the great work, and I look forward to watching more of your content in the future 👍👍👍
If you just want to get some work done then it can be quite cost effective to buy one for $200 instead of spending several nights building it. But I'm not one of those people.. My shop is mainly used for building tools to be able to build other tools.
It would be fully designed and certified, with factors of safety built in. I’m always sceptical about anything that lifts or creates pressure that’s home made. I’m not saying this isn’t safe but has it been stress tested or inspected by a hoist inspector?
No super koleszko też musze pomyslec nad takim żurawiem! a ty możesz jeszcze zrobic typowy stojak pod silniki z możliwosci obracania go o 360 stopni naprawde fajna sprawa! Pozdrawiam
Great job, but I think that will be better when crane hawe got three wheels like truck , only this back will be spinned . You can make more control to drive it
Nice build. I know u like to build your own things as I do to but that would have been way cheaper to buy than build. I understand a bought one isnt something u built but in the end u have the same things as an engine puller aka cherry picker. Not trying to take anything away from your build tho cause u truly did an awesome job...
Great Job! I've seen you use that Band Saw in other Videos. I would like to know what Brand it is, and where to buy one??? That is a very Handy Band Saw, and too over sized.
Thank you :) The saw is great. As for the brand, different manufacturers attribute it to themselves but you really need to look at the similarity because it can only differ in color. Here you have a link to one like mine images.app.goo.gl/cLdMGsPqp2QwRVCR7
This is an awesome build, great video with awesome content, I’m subscribing. Right now! Great job. 3 dislikes at this point?! I understand anyone can like or dislike a video, but considering any dislike is for nothing, because it’d be too late, the project is done and over with, and accomplished, no matter how the whole process went, which means: dislike=petty. Because there is more than one way to skin a cat, not just your way. He built a homemade engine hoist that is far better than the cheap Chinese bargain brand. What else do you need his blood to paint it?!

Did you ever post a link with the dimensions for this build? Here is what you said a year ago "I will insert a link to the photo with dimensions for the description.'
It's so cool when a maker uses an already cool build to help build another awesome item, great video.
I’ve no idea why this came up in my recommendations, but I’m really glad it did. An absolutely brilliant build, well done.
Thank you very much:)
Exactly what I was going to say. This is the second one I've watched this morning.
Nothing better then building a shop crane in 16mins..LOL
Nice job..

Great Video 👍👍👍
Great Job 👍👍👍
Answering the age old question “Why buy it when I have trade skills and can make it?” Well done, excellent build

Наверное распилит скоро этот кран, уж очень много места занимает. Тельфер удобнее будет в этом плане.
Good video..
Thank you 😁
Excellent presentation. Could you please list the dimensions?
you got the blueprints? Im starting mechanic school next year and im gonna need one
great video man, amazing product
Hey pal!, nice video, you rock.
Could you please list the list of materials and sizes of everything?. I guess i'm talking for everyone :D.
Thanks!
Bravo, bought off the shelf, it wouldn't have been any better, maybe not even as good.
It would be fully designed and certified, with factors of safety built in.
I’m always sceptical about anything that lifts or creates pressure that’s home made.
I’m not saying this isn’t safe but has it been stress tested or inspected by a hoist inspector?
i just need to make one of these that lifts a bit higher and has locking wheels to lift motorcycles
bạn sáng kiến thật tuyệt mình chúc bạn luôn có nhiều sức khỏe trong cuộc sống thansk.

Postaram się zbudować w przyszłości taki stojak :) pozdrawiam:)
Could you build a machine that can carry me places? I'm tired of riding my horse everywhere.
Great job, but I think that will be better when crane hawe got three wheels like truck , only this back will be spinned . You can make more control to drive it
Another great job. Where the orange arms fit into the main frame, why is the box section cut out?
hey, love the idea. could you send me the schematic for it please?
Excelent video. And the especifications????
Молодец! Круто!
Nice, needs a handle tho
Would love to build something like this. but anymore it costs almost as much to buy supplies as it does if you just buy one.
Крепление цилиндра на стойке повыше бы, чтобы высоту подъёма увеличить. А чтобы авто поднимать дополнительно к балке типа лапы сделать.
Do you have a list of what thickness those materials were?
good tankyou.....
превосходно👍👍👍👋
Fuck that looks good I'm gonna use this for my hoist cheers legend
I would like to see a video of the hyd jack vise build
It's on the channel, here you have the link czcams.com/video/KVbAhd6u4AU/video.html

Have you considered making one with a gear system so you don't have to do all that cranking?

Hopefully people disliking are just trying to tell the YT algorithm "don't recommend this it's not my thing" not out of extreme pettiness.
cool 👏🏻👏🏻🔝
Thanks :)
