Duke Quach I’m still trying to ease my way onto the bench as I feel like I’m all over the place. The smith machine is a god send
thats actually not the best way to do it, for that exact reason one shouldn't bench on the smith machine because the bar shouldn't be going up and down in a line, in should be slightly in a diagonal where near the top of the movement you use your triceps to push the weight a bit towards the rack.

You know Chris deserves to be champ because he doesn't unnecessarily show off. He wears a hoodie, he doesn't just try to lift heavy to show off, and he just acts like a normal guy (who just so happens to be absolutely massive).

For free weights is the bar path supposed to be straight through? A couple of videos demonstrated how the bar path is supposed to bend slightly.
@@subhamsaha2115 from what I know, the bar path is heavily important when dealing with PRs and overall powerlifting training. Since Chris is a bodybuilder, I don’t think it matters as much/doesn’t play a significant role in muscle growth

Watching him workout with such a perfect form in each and every rep feels like therapy to me.. I’m watching him as carefully as I can and I’ll try to execute that perfection in the gym.

@@thomasseillers3905 No I don't think so. Because pushing the bar all the way up actually takes the load off the shoulders and reduces the time under tension of the target muscle. I actually implemented this technique and felt the difference immediately.

Push pull legs is my favorite split by far. There's not as much overlap between training sessions and it's very hard to overdue it from a recovery standpoint. Keep up the solid work 👊
Love it as well, the only thing i do is hitting bizeps on legday, like leg bizeps, push trizeps pull abs...keep up!
Seems to be the most balanced and best bang per buck. I'm experimenting with a modified approach because I don't do legs. 4 bro split days, 2 push, 2 pull days, one day off. Might switch it up to 4 bro splits and one full body, 2 days off.
Today is my first day doing push pull legs! I switched from a regular bro split. Looking forward to seeing some gainsssss
@@Youranium22 it's a solid split and definitely works well! Just hammer a couple of basic movements and get stronger at them. Works like a charm for strength and building muscle mass 👊

I saw Mike Tyson at my gym at 12 at night and I was like wow what is he doing here. I didn’t go up to him because I figured guy wants to get a workout and comes in when it should be dead time let him have his free time and not bother him. 10 minutes in he has a crowd of bloodsuckers asking for photos. He left 15 min later. He was pretty cool about it and took a few pics but I could tell he was annoyed by the leeches.

You can tell he’s off cycle by his demeanor imo. And the fact he’s lost weight but that’s what makes him so good. The willingness to work hard when the chips are down. To push through when you feel like shit. He could take the easy way out and stay on a high trt dosage but he knows that in the long run this is the best option ever if the discomfort is high it’s only temporary. This guy is my freaking hero I swear

I started it after Cbum’s last video and doing some research. I like it, but like Chris said, it’s difficult to get the training volume and intensity down. I’m probably overtraining and need to take it down a little. Definitely takes time to get used to it 👍
