Marek nice job on the review. Thinking of this car a lot, but the Nissan NP300 is my option. If transporter i advise to buy the California version, you never now where you need it. A truly great car.

Greetings from South Africa. I personally think the Caravelle should have a manual transmition alongside the DSG as an option. Personally I think the diesel engines are better with the manual transmition and never an automatic.

Transporter is the model name, i.e. Volkswagen Transporter. And then there are trim levels with Transporter being the workhorse, people-carrier oriented Multivan, Caravelle, and camper California.

+BigBrainCZ You can have a T6 done up like the V-Class, and you can have a Vito panel van (which is basically a stripped V-Class). I think it's down to the money and image. It may look more prestigious, when a Merc is picking you up from the airport. On the other hand, it may also look more expensive, which is not something everyone wants.

T4 and T5 looks a lot better than T6, what a shame. Volkswagen has destroyed a beautiful simple design, now we have a huge ugly face :(
