Kids have too much homework these days. I recently cared for my 11 year old nephew for two days, and the amount of homework he had was crazy. He was in tears by 9pm. I don't think it's good for their mental health. I was even exhausted and stressed out helping him and he'd been in school all day! 😢
Completely agree! It’s absurd. They need time to be kids, to play, to relax, to enjoy their families, to create… it’s sad to me.

Loved 🥰 this video!!! I am a stay at home mum just starting out my own business and I feel so unproductive these days as there is so much to be done!!! I feel a bit guilty doing jobs when my oldest son is still awake but I watch TV with him or listen to him read when I can! Are you still using the skin and me products? I always fold up the washing, but then it can stay in the basket waiting to be put away in each persons rooms for days! 😅😲 Thank you 😊

Did I just blink and all your kids grew up?! I now have three little ones myself and can remember watching your early videos with three. Thank you for sharing, nice to imagine phases after the little kid stage.
I do love ALL of your videos! It's fun to see the ones that Matt agrees to be in because he is such a clown! His antics in this one made me laugh out loud! My husband asked me, "What's so funny?" because I was laughing out loud. 😂
We are a bit older than you and Matt at 65 and 61. We have two sons, ages 41 and 38. We ALWAYS had dinner together EVERY night, until they got after-school jobs. They follow that tradition with their family as well. I clearly remember that I did NOT like how much homework they were saddled with at high school. It took from the time that they would normally get to spend with us! Humor was, and still is, a very big part of the time we spend together. We have an 11½ year old grandson who is a hockey goalie. We go to most of his games and even the out of town tournaments he has. His sister is 13 and plays catcher and 1st baseman in softball. We go to most of her games as well as the out of town tournaments she has, too. We have 4 more grandchildren, ages 11½,19, 23, and 25. We live within a 5 minute car ride from each of hour sons, their wives and kids. Our 23 year old grandson lives about 7 minutes from us, too! That transition where you have to share your kids more and more with the rest of the world is hard! I miss those years when our boys were young. I enjoyed them so much! Your boys seem to be such wonderful, polite young men! I love to see that!

Loved seeing your night routine Emily ❤ The best thing I did in my kitchen Reno was put in 2 dishwashers , so I had one for pots as well ! I know it sounds lazy lol 😆 but I really dislike washing up , it’s been a lifesaver 👌

I do exactly the same. Brush my teeth so I’m not tempted to eat in the evenings , then have a cup of hot water. My husband thinks I’m mad but I actually enjoy it and it’s so good for you.

Great video Emily! I bought cauliflower rice to try once a few years ago, I put it in the bottom of the fridge and forgot about it. One day opened the fridge and it was carnage in there, haven't been able to buy it since that smell of it gone off😅

Hey Emily, hope you’re all well. I’m happy, good and well thank you good evening love this Winter evening routine video. I’ve really enjoyed this Winter evening routine. It made me feel so happy and I really do love all of your videos so much because they are all motivating me a lot more every Monday and Wednesday too. Ah I really love Lindor chocolate so much. It’s probably my favourite chocolate in the world! I like a cup of tea and biscuits, chocolates or desserts too. I love all of the music and songs from epidemic sound too! It’s always wonderful and lovely to spend time with your family because it makes everyone in your family feel happy and better all the time. I love spending with my family. I like all of your routines and your other videos too. You are literally so happy and motivated for me every time. I get so excited and glad with your new videos every week. I absolutely loved taking baths and showers to make feel clean, happy, motivated and comfortable. I love using the Lancôme face wash cream to wash my face to make it clean and fresh as well. Also if you get out in the sunshine more absorbed the vitamin D your skin will feels clear and healthy. My face definitely feel good and lovely because I had a lot of vitamin D. I like smoothies too. I love cleaning my house too. I like walking outside! I like to have my skin to breathe. I love my skincare routine. My skin also feels shiny, smooth and brighter. I love walking in the evenings and during the day. I like relaxing in my living room. I like to at least set us up ready for the next day and for the upcoming week.I love a routine and maximum time correctly in the week! And I know what I’m going to do when I have a routine in place. The Greek yogurt with honey sounds amazing. I love any healthy snacks which makes me full for longer hours in the day. We watched the Willy wonka film at the weekend and it’s was good and everybody loved it. I have been watching myself what I’ve been eating in 2024 after indulging at Christmas with a lot of birthday cake and festive food. Such as biscuits and chocolate. I’ve been working out and exercising more in 2024 and it really helps me feel motivated, healthy and stronger. I just wanted to feel better and good for the spring and summer seasons and when I go on holiday. The recipes Honey prawns with cauliflower rice sounds delicious. One pot creamy thyme and mustard chicken Sweet and Sticky beef bowl also sounds scrumptious.Green chef is the same as Hello Fresh. I haven’t had cauliflower rice before but it looks good. We just have normal rice. I love having dinner with my family in the evenings and I like to clean up before or after dinner too. Before I sit down for the evening and do something for myself. The song was called Only yours and I love this song so much. I love cleaning to music Freddo chocolate bar and the Greek yogurt with almond butter and seed mix to be healthier. I love having some desserts after dinner and evenings too. My favourite desserts are cakes, biscuits, chocolate or yoghurt fruit plus nuts too. I love speed cleaning my kitchen and vacuuming with my Dyson cordless vacuum. I love using my spray wipe done all the time. It’s one of my favourite sprays. I also noticed Costco do sell your favourite spray wipe done sprays in packs of 3 too. I love having and bath or shower whichever one I have time for. I love getting everything ready the night before. I love your pyjamas as they’re nice and warm. I love doing my skincare routine every evening too. My hands and skin have been so dry so much in the winter. I have been using hand cream or bio oil plus both of them work well. I need to put foot cream on my left foot as it gets dry in the winter regularly. I love couscous too! I love cleaning my sink as well. I know Matt is amazing and lovely person. I love relaxing in the evenings when my house is lovely, clean and tidy too. Could we see what I eat in a day, packed lunch ideas and entire house clean with me videos coming from you too. Love watching your videos Emily, been watching you since before I was pregnant (2015)! Quick one- can I ask where you got the white small rugs to go on top of the wooden bench the kids sit on? Looking for something similar, how do you get them to stay put? x
A suggestion - which you can feel free to ignore. With the apples - it might be a bit of a faff - but I cut my son’s up in to large finger size pieces (half of a large apple). He is 14 and can bite easily through an apple when needed, but he says that they dont really have much time at lunch time (he would probably rather be chatting with his mates) so making his lunch easier to get through helps save him time and ensures it all gets eaten - well at the moment anyway. So jealous of your boot room section.
That is a good tip - they're always seem to eat their tangerines so I definitely need to put those in instead xx

Gosh that’s just like us. Our girls don’t have too many clubs these days, just 1 or 2 but we are finding (now they’re 9&12) that we only have an hour to ourselves once all the jobs are done and both of them have gone to bed. Do you and Matt find that you think of things during the day that you need to discuss but can’t remember/be bothered by 9pm? We do this all the time! 😂 What happened to the days when they were all in bed by 7pm? They grow up so quickly and I don’t like it 😔
