Ever since this video came out. It has pretty much been the consensus of many Vocal Coach/Singer reactions that Haley just gave a Masterclass in Vocal technique and the wide range of ability and control.

great reaction darnell and your karoke is actually pretty good. i have been watching these "creep" reactions for a while and you very quickly get how good haley reinhart is. this cover is not only exceptional , it is masterpiece and maybe the best cover ever done, bar none. haley is one of greatest vocalist of our time (certainly the most underrated). all the other haley/pmj ones are great also: "all about the bass", "habits", "black hole sun", "mad world", "seven nations army", "oops i did it again", "lovefool" and the very recent "don't speak".
i think what is so phenomenal about haley is not just her amazing silk to sandpaper voice but also her character and soul that she puts into the performances. even when she uses very little of her unique vocal acrobatics, her pure raw soft voice is amazing like in the intro of "creep". you see this even more in her solo platinum cover of "can't help falling in love" for the extra gum commercial which is truly stunning and frequently described as what love sounds like here: (czcams.com/video/_uNpEbt7w_o/video.html )

This song is what got me to go down the PMJ rabbit hole. Their version of Creep was my introduction to PMJ, and to be honest I prefer this over the original. They do some amazing covers. Seven Nation Army with Hailey is great too. You should also check out their cover of Royal with Puddles Pity Party.
The day they recorded this, Haley was really sick. She had already recorded 2 other songs at another studio but met up with PMJ and got this in 1 take. At least, thats the story I herd.

Hi Darnell ! Wow - this is super cool and such a great song! We are a kids family band from NZ and we like to cover classic rock and check out other peoples versions. The last few videos we've done have got really good sound... You might like to see Still got the blues, hey you, enter sandman... We also did Bohemian Rhapsody a while back lol Rock on!!

There's a really great duet you may want to react to. I Surrender by Katrina Velarde and Jessica Villarubin. They're from the Philippines and they nuke this song in a very good way. It's a Celine Dion cover. This should be duet of the year, it's that good. Thanks man.

I’ll trade you. Unless you’ve heard of Leonid and Friends, you need to check them out. I’ve only seen one reactor review them. They do fantastic covers of Classic Chicago and Earth Wind and Fire songs.

Haley Reinhart is definitely a world-class vocalist all the way. However, she always remains very obscure and very unknown because for years already she has been refusing to sign a record contract. Which is a shame because she should share her musical gift with the world to bring us as much joy and happiness to it as possible.
Meanwhile, that version of "Creep" you just reacted to not only stayed on the Billboard Digital Jazz Chart for 58 straight weeks, but it is also the first music video on the very extensive PMJ CZcams Channel to surpass 100 million views.
As Haley is not only the best vocalist ever to have performed with PMJ by far, but she is also the best thing to have ever happened to PMJ. As prior to Haley's arrival, PMJ only played cheap dives and tiny venues. Then after Haley arrived and quickly recorded several music videos that all went viral, suddenly PMJ found themselves filling coliseums and arenas.
Anyway, more goose pimple inducing must react to covers of Haley Reinhart with PMJ are "Seven Nation Army", "Don't Speak", "Oops, I Did It Again", "Habits", and "ALL About That Bass". I promise you they will all blow you away.

Except they all have a measly 2.5 million views to Haley's over 100 million CZcams views. As Haley by far is the best vocalist of all time to have performed with PMJ. As none of the other very mediocre lounge singers come close to the world-class abilities and talents of Haley Reinhart. As apparently you aren't listening to the same PMJ music I'm listening too.

Loved your reaction, subbed for more Haley, in my opinion currently the most intriguing US american female vocalist. I don't count LA based Angelina Jordan though as she's Norwegian, if I did Haley would come in second... I just checked, as your channel is quite young you did not do a reaction to Angelina yet, maybe never heard of her at all - I strongly recommend you to give her a try, she'll be one of the most influential singers of the 21st century, incredible voice and control and one of the most adorable human beings (she's 16 now, won Norway got Talent at age 7!!!, signed with Republic Records at age 15 and blew Simon Cowell away at AGT... Other 'Angels' will surely ask for your reaction to her spectacular AGT performances at age 13 (Bohemian Rhapsody, Yellow Brick Road...), but as an introduction to her I would love to watch you react to a recording (another b/w video :) of her singing 'I Put A Spell On You' (Screaming Jay Hawkins, Nina Simone, CCR...) with a great Jazz band at age 9, I promise you won't believe what you'll get to see and hear...

But of course in the end it's a matter of personal taste, for example for me as for many reactors her '22 recording of "My Funny Valentine" is the best cover ever done of that great song, but recently I watched another reaction to it and that guy didn't like it that much, well, he admitted that she sung very well, but said he just doesn't like the song... there's nothing you can do about it... but for a reaction I would recommend another new cover, it's her interpretation of a song made famous by Elvis: "Suspicious Minds", because that one has an actual video (but it's not live, the recording as done in a studio...) and it's a great rework of that classic, not just a cover, but a completely new arrangement...
Or, if you want to see a live performance I'd suggest her original "Million Miles" sung live during her concerts in Norway in summer of '22... I can give you a link if needed... but you might as well just search for "Jordan Suspicious Minds", it's the first result you'll get to see...

Fine singer though she is, I think you're overstating it to state that Angelina is actually better than Haley at the moment. From what I've heard of Angelina, she sounds very like Amy Winehouse. Still she is only sixteen so who knows how she will develop as she matures.
There are jazz influences in nearly all Haley's singing. However, she won't be pigeon-holed into one genre whereas Angelina seems to be jazz all the way through. Actually, I wish Haley would stick to Jazz and Blues, but she's had a very catholic musical upbringing and has very eclectic taste, hence the diversity of genres that she sings, and writes.
@@gynack Don't get me wrong, I absolutely adore Haley, and more than once not everyone was pleased with me suggesting Haley videos in the comments of reactions to Angelina, thus I'm known as the Halien Angel, and when I said Haley would come in second that was a projection into the future, given the emotional depth and thickness of Angelina's voice as well as her obvious musical genius as proved with not only great new arrangements of well known songs but also some stone solid originals at merely 17... when she'll be double that age she'll be better than anyone on the planet if you ask me, but of course that's wishful thinking, and in the end it's still a matter of taste... I need both of them in my life, after some videos with Haley I start to miss Angelina, and vice versa... each of them, great singers as both of them are, offers something the other doesn't convey that strongly, and that makes it even more beautiful... Fair reply. As Angelina is still so young and already so so good, it does make one wonder how much she develop as she matures. You could well be right about her future. As good as she already is, I don't think she's all the way there yet. However, her progress is is definitely something to look forward to.
