One Winged Camellia Bowl! - Wood Turning

- My friend Gary over at ThePapa1947 gave this piece of Camellia to me. I didn't know Camellia grew this large. The wood is very dense and hard and gave me some trouble in turning it, but the result was worth my hard work. I love the very odd, natural shape of this piece. By the way, I spelled Camellia wrong on the bottom of the bowl, dang it!

Love how you snuck up on it! The kickback seemed very jarring to your hands…then it jumped off and wow! You handled the issues like a pro! Another gorgeous creation!
