Margot and Patrick ~ A Dreamy Rainy Day Wedding at the Crane Estate Barn in Ipswich, MA

Margot and Patrick met in college while both on the track and field team. While it was at school that their friendship blossomed, it wasn’t until after college that they began dating. By the time their wedding day arrived they already had four years of friendship and five years of dating behind them, and as Margot said, they both loved that their romance began with a solid foundation of friendship. Indeed, as they both said, when they did began dating, they knew right away that they would one day be married.
The couple chose the Crane Estate based on the fact that it is part of the Trustees which does historic and land preservation. Patrick does environmental Chemistry in a PHD program and Margot is in a History PHD program, so the venue suited both of their interests perfectly! Not only that but the barn itself created the exact vibe they were looking for. For a personal touch, Margot wore a necklace that belonged to her grandmother and photos of all of their grandparents were displayed in lovely frames in the barn.
