I get you. I have done things in my art that made me laugh so hard I could not bring air in to breathe. When I'm done laughing, it is such a relief. We are not robots. Making a mistake makes everything okay. It looks great. You saved it. Best of all, you had a good laugh.

Never had you chuckled so much over a carve.yes paint was the savior and made everything come together and also gave it depth.
Used to do a lot of oil painting and boy the under paintings would look absolutely ridiculous 😂😂😂 but you’d never know it in the end! love your attitude! I’m new to 3d stuff, but this is maybe giving me the courage to do more. pretty cute in the end!

I knew you could..there's no reason to limit your carvings...I know you enjoy the woodspirits..mostly because you've had success with the huge number of them you've done...just like the owls..eagles..gnomes..just as you tell us..the more you do the more comfortable and happy you are with the work...and yes the paint was helpful because the markings show strongly with the colors..which I might add..you did a great job on that as well...

@carvingfusion: jordy Johnson, I just noticed my first word said "poor", I meant "poof" so I went back to fix that lol. Anyways, I'm an Artist myself, working with ceramics as a medium; I make sculptures and functional pieces. Recently, I got introduced to wood whittling, which is pretty awesome as well! I do paintings, pottery, drawings, I've done glass on glass mosaics and now wood stuff.

What's weird about this request is Ryan Cook just did a raccoon chainsaw carve and though it's big I wanted to carve a raccoon. So now after you ( my mentor) did it with a Dremel I'm super excited to try it. Thanks for sharing
