Thank God they have Oliver on these reviews. Everyone else is just pussyfooting it around regarding back stories etc. Just say if the song is good or bad. I just want to hear a good song, having a sob story doesn't make it any better.
He gave an 8 to Norway though and praised the song's sincerity when to me that song is just as cliche and boring as this one.

I adore him as a person, performer and singer, so I forgive his mistakes like 'Here I stand'.

As a song I give it a 9. It must be in Top 5 for sure.... I don't know what you mean a song is not Eurovision enough. As a song this stands out. As a vocals, this stands up. We have had so much Euro trash, we want some more of the same and forbid real songs from contending. Eurovision fetish beat has made us deaf and not capable of appreciating music. We want glitter and vane dance moves. I am not surprised we give a blind eye when we hear a real song and see a fascinating singer. You can have your "more of the same" Eurovision, I'll have my Special Eurovision where artists can take chances.

I do not think that he will qualify but he has my respect as an artist and as a human being. Maybe eurovision 2021 it is not his time to shine but the future is in his hands and he will succeed.

I really liked his last year's entry "You" and I hoped for something similar. I felt a bit let down by this. His vocals are undeniably great and he'll show that on stage but I don't see him qualify for the final. Not at all. I kinda hope for a wonder and that he does qualify somehow. Not because of the song but rather because of him.
North Macedonia has had plenty of songs in weird time signatures in the past. Tose Proeski’s “Life” has about three different downbeats, “Mojot Svet” from 2007 was in 7/4 - both came 14th. Can’t see this doing the same, but it is very musically-complex and interesting, and some people will want to vote for high art.

I agree with Lucy. This is better than last year, since this seems more his taste. But it's too musical, and also not my taste either. I'm sure he will do his best to bring it! My score is a 5 though.
I think that Macedonia will qualify for the final! Because after rehearsals everything will change

I don't know why they didn't go with "SudBina" as the entry. It would've done well.
@@roose85723 vasil said in an interview that because he will be alone on the stage in Rotterdam the whole staging wont do justice to the song Sudbina, as it requires more dancers. Thats why he didn't chose that one.

For me in Semi Final n°01 he is my number 14/16 and in total 35/39. By a french fan. Not really anything good or bad just really bland/beige.

North Macedonia = 5 - As someone who really, really loves good vocals, this song is like candy to me. I will be honest and say that when it comes on I don’t normally even notice it’s there until the last minute when the choir comes in and Vasil starts performing those super long belts, so I know this is quite slow and it doesn’t command my attention for the whole three minutes. Overall I know why people rank this so low, but I love Vasil and he has ridiculously good vocals that I really enjoy listening to.
I give this 0, it would be a 2/3 but the spoken introduction of his video is the most uncomfortable staged thing ive ever seen.
He doesn't deserve a 0 nor 1. It's my 39th place but his vocals are great and he deserves a 2.
