Thanks for telling me why the drain standpipe has to be a certain height. I've seen the codes mentioning it but now I understand why.

but my plumber told me to place the washing machine higher and outlet pipe lower so that all the water gets out easily

Not bashing your plumber, but your washing machine can pump as high as 8 feet from the bottom of the washer. The machine stays on the floor and the drain should be above the flood level rim of the machine. I use 38 inches myself as the lowest height of a washer standpipe. The pipe cannot be below this height. I think your plumber has to do a little research on washer machine drains.
@@TheOldkid888 so I got a question. You seem pretty knowledgeable. So I want to drain my washing machine into my existing 3in toilet drain with a T, can I do that? Also, the washing machine will be sitting on 2 pallets but the existing drain is still higher than the washer but doesn't exceed 69in. Is that ok?

The line you are tying into is vertical?
Your machine as I previously mentioned will pump up to 8 feet.
You want to install the sanitary tee in the line, but the washer should be vented as well. The reason for the vent is to prevent the washer trap you are going to install not to be syphoned of its water every time water comes down the main stack you are tying into.
This being said you either have to run the vent into the vent line upstairs, tie them into one in the basement or install a mechanical air vent which is only permitted on an island kitchen line.
So first you would install your tee. Then you will install a piece of pipe into the branch of the tee you installed. At the end of pipe you will be installing a sanitary tee on its back.
Coming out of the end of the tee your trap has to be installed with a stand pipe which should be about 7 feet off the floor. As long as it is close to the ceiling. Hard to say exactly unless I saw the area to be exact.
Off the branch of the tee on its back you would install the vent line up either to tie it into another vent or install an automatic air vent as high as you can get from the floor.
I am not a fan of using the air vent in this situation, but sometimes you have no choice unless you want to get into cutting the walls apart upstairs which can be a nasty job.

what does the lever mean if you push it back or forth
I just moved my washer/dryer from the kitchen into the garage. I will be draining my washer into the yard. The old washing machine drain emptied into the septic. I have removed the old hot/cold supply lines, what do I need to do with the old drain line? The wall that it is on will be covered soon with sheetrock.

We just got our brand new Duet 9750 last week and since day one it has vibrated its self to death. I feel like it should never do that. It washes better than any other washer I have ever had, but take 2X longer to run a cycle due to its vibration issue. Can anyone help me? It's on a pedestal and shipping bolts are out. (in the pedestal)

I haven't seen this set up in the Philippines...
Is this high tech? Standard washing machine? How about older washing machine? We just drain them to floor drain..

Bruce Alexander sorry for the late reply, but water us pumped out of the unit via a drain hose, which routes to your house sewer line or septic depending on your home.
If I designed that wall I would put the mains outlet above the level of the water supply.

I learned that you should put the drain pipe between 32" to 39"
