This Episode was filmed by my 8 year old son while on our summer digging trip. This was one of the 1st episodes we ever attempted useing a new camera. My son and I wanted to share with you an experience most people will ever have & a part of history that is sadly little documented .. CZcams is Not Network..... If you want that, I'm sure the discovery channel has something to offer. We are doing the Very best we can with what is available to us. Over the past few months we have invested a considerable amount out money and time in New camerias, sound equipment & a professional editor & we hope that future Episodes will be of a higher standard. Until then, try to say something nice about a father and son sharing there Adventures ..... Or just don't say anything at all......
Thanks, .... Chase & Isaac Pipes
Thank you for reminding people of our roots!

we welcome All comments to the videos we publish. instead of spending our time creating videos of people running into walls or cats chasing balls we attempt to share histories that most people don't get a chance to see in places they will never get to experience. the conditions are not always ideal and since these videos are filmed with the best camera we can afford and sometimes by whatever friend we have around, we ask that you accept that this is not the History Channel, and sometimes we don't find anything because we don't believe in "planting" or showing you something that didn't actually happen. we have too much respect for you the audience! This Episode was filmed by My son Isaac who was 7 at the time of filming. we were digging 50 million year old fossil fish and thought that this would be something cool to share with people who didn't even know this history existed, let alone that you could actually do it yourself ... i hope this episode encourages you to go there and dig, to discover some Amazing fossils & to film it yourself! ... when you do please share it with others to hopefully inspire them to discover something fun! Chase & Isaac Pipes
Wow. May I suggest another hypothesis. It wasn’t an ancient lake. The earth was covered in water about 4400 years ago. After God decided to judge mankind for the evil they had done. After a year of total coverage, God said enough. The waters receded back to the ocean leaving behind fish in mountainous areas all OVER THE WORLD. If you check the fossils you find, you will see it is the same fish in the ocean today. The fact that you can find fossils in tact is proof that they were buried rapidly and not over millions of years. When you see flash floods and cars and trees caught up in them, you can see how they get buried in the sediments. If left long enough it will dry and form sedimentary rock.
The layers were deposited by hydrostatic sorting which is easily observed in nature and can be experimented today.
Besides this, have a look into the methods used to date rocks. It is not accurate at all.
The rulers of this evil world don’t want to accept the fact that God judged His creation once with a flood and that He promised to judge it again with fire. The scientific evidence is here to show the truth. Don’t believe theories unless real science backs it up.
I was gonna say No cuz of the camera shaking, but read below that your 7 yr old son was camera man, so thats cool! I love your enthusiasm! actually, you are probably the first and Only human to ever see those fossils! Momma Earth is so amazing!

The Maker Shoppe Chase Pipes here, thanks for the suggestions! I just bought a new camera & tripod a few weeks ago. My camera man is my son who was 8 when we shot this episode! the camera shaking is terrible!
Right?
Sorry for the Shaking, this episode was filmed by my 7 year old son!... he was doing the very best he could as were we with what we had available.
where are the fossils ??
Warfield Fossils split fish quarry in the famed Green River Formation of Wyoming continues to be the public's #1 place to dig fossils.
we don't set up shots or do set up "discoveries" on our channel, what you see is actually how it happens. we have not met any of the Warfield fossil folks but have herd a Lot of GREAT Things about them and their site! the Quarry in this episode is no longer a public Quarry, but their are Plenty of GREAT Operations throughout the Green River Formation to offer anyone a excellent chance of making their own discovery. contact the Kemmemmer WY chamber of commerce for more information!
Probably would be interesting if I could hear it
@ Janice Adams... you are correct, this is one of the first episodes we filmed & was filmed by 7 year old Isaac Pipes... we tried to do the very best we could to capture as much as possible , but being on the side of the mountain 100 miles from the nearest Walmart we did the best we could considering the situation!.... we do have pother episodes on the Green River Formation and Wyoming's Fossil fish that are a little more in-depth and have better sound (but not much better) its only been with in the past 2 years that we have Really stepped up our production quality, but the fact still remains that we are filming on dig sites around the world far from civilization and on a limited budget… we hope you will check out our more recent episodes.... where the sound is MUCH MUCH Better! thanks for the comment!!
So much shaking!
This episode was filmed by..... 7 year old..... Isaac Pipes, who in our opinion, did a fantastic job capturing everything. Love the enthusiasm but according to the fossil record (eg. Polystrate fossils) the cannot be millions of years old.
we agree with that, but cant see where in the episode we discussed that

Sucks, "ditto."
this channel is filmed by volunteers, we do the very best we can with what we can afford, which isn't much. this is a continuing learning process for us. all we hope to achieve is that you the viewer learn something from what we film and discover histories to research and places to go.
too much talk little to show
unlike what you see on TV we don't plant "discoveries" to film. so we try to make up for it in discussing the history of a place and why those fossils are there to begin with, which most people don't know! allowing you the viewer a chance to learn something from the video from people who make a living digging up the past. in the future we hope to get better at our passion of sharing what we see and experience.
These fossils are not fifty million yrs old. Also Wyoming is known for fossil grave yards like the one just found with over a hundred near complete dinosaurs skeleton fossils that clearly died together at once due to a massive flood .
@VivianBrown We here at Chasing History have Great Respect for the belief of All Religious groups, from reincarnation believed by Buddhist, Scientologist belief in Xemu ruler of the Galactic confederacy who was banished to earth, Jehovah Witnesses belief that only 2,500 people will be allowed into the kingdom of heaven, the Mormon belief that the more kids they have the more lost souls will be allowed into heaven (and the Native Americans were the lost tribe of Israel thing), and the branch of Christianity that believes that the earth is only 6,000 years old.... we have Great Respect for Whatever you want to believe! We just ask that you go believe that somewhere else...
We here at Chasing History are Dedicated to moving humanity Forward with the understanding of what Science has to teach our species about the world and universe we exist in and the species that has come before us.

Wahooooooooooooo!!!!….
What is with Americans and this over excited delivery...like watching kids tv.
@Markhepworth Hahahaha...….. Our Question back is.....
How can you NOT be Excited????
Seriously???? We are talking about 54 Million Year Old Fossils, on a Dig Site where they are found...…
How is that NOT Exciting!.... hahaha....
Bring out your inner kid & don't be that grumpy old man who grew up! ;)
History Rocks!
WAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!
Way too much talking not enough showing of successful finds. Boring
@Kelly .....that's because they didn't find anything that great. the focus of the episode and our series is to educate the public about the process of discovering history and show what can actually be found on an average day. we understand that you can get numbed by other creators showing you fantastic finds that they planted, weather on National Television, streaming services or Facebook groups, but few people show you what an average day out in the field looks like.... and that's what we do... we educate you about what life was like during that era and show you what can be found on an average day, its not every day that you can find a horse, or an alligator, or bat, or feather.... but you do find a lot of broken fish.... if you ever get out and dig the Green River (which we hope you will get out into the field and do so) you will learn that the big finds are quite rare.
thanks for sharing your thoughts and comments... now you know what we are all about.
