【OPUS OF JOYFUL SKIES】 Original Arknights-Inspired Song 【Empresses' Voice Cup】

My entry for the Arknights Empresses' Voice Cup contest: Opus of Joyful Skies!
Joy's Opus from the Zwillingstürme im Herbst event is based on Act 1: Valse of Coppélia by Léo Delibes (1870).
I have arranged the original classical piece, combining its melody with the lyrics as hymn "Lied des klaren Himmels" (Song of the Clear Sky) from Arknights.
Lied des klaren Himmels was originally written out in the Lingering Echoes story, and then referenced again in Zwillingstürme im Herbst.
I was amazed when I realized how well the cadence of both of these independent pieces fit together, and I had to to make it happen!
I am an absolute beginner at orchestral-style arrangements and very new to to DAWs/digital music making as a whole. But I tried to include further references to Joy's Opus from the game--I made sure to include a glockenspiel referencing the "Wisdom" way of want for this opus, which were consistently my favorite variations! I also made sure to reference characters through their aligned instrument at various points in the song (sometimes the video gives you hints for those! 🙂). I am planning to do a second video on the making-of process, and going over some of these references I included!
My own rendition of this song is in no way intended to be accurate to the original composition or orchestration. I started with the piano part only and expanded from there; I did not follow most of the dynamics of the original piece and especially did not follow the articulation (staccato in particular) markings of the original! Just wanted to make this disclaimer in case any big classical music fans see this 😂

I have never done anything orchestral like this, but it was a ton of fun!! Shoutout to Léo Delibes for composing some really great pieces back in the 1800s, to serve as the foundation for this 😂
