PART 1 WILLYS CJ5 VINTAGE WINCH BUMPER BUILD | Classic Farm Jeep Bumper

WELCOME BACK! I'm back working on the 1957 Willys CJ5. This time, I'm building a new bumper that will incorporate the old Warn (Bellview) winch that I shared a little while back. This is going to be a fairly simple build to keep with the simplicity of the Jeep. it's going to have a vintage look and style. No modern lighting, no color-matched D-rings. Just a simple channel iron bumper with some shackle mounts, a 2" trailer ball and a winch mount.
The bumper is a piece of 3/16" steel. The shackles that I weld on are 5/8". In the end, I'm going to try my hand again at creating a fauxtina finish to match the actual patina on the Willys. Enjoy!
