You're right. Most of his songs sounds alike. Ex: Lady B. Goode and Bye, bye Johnny... Same receipe prepared differently. Some of his hits was reburbished songs from the 40's inspirated from Louis Jordan (ex: Ain't just like a woman for Johnny B. Goode) or Rock Awhile by Goree Carter for Down the road apiece, etc... But his incredible guitar style and guitar riffs made rock and roll history..
When a true rock singer sings it can't be explained through words. Chuck Berry was the true king of rock, the whole rock music's father. If i listen to his tracks, I immediately start to dance. :D

This is just beautiful.
To all the haters, what did you expect? You cannot expect total unheard of originality from a total classic such as Jonny B. Goode. It just wouldn't suit the style. This sequel is deliberately kept simple just like the original and it works brilliant. The best songs are always simple and he's nailed this. He still sounds just as 1950's young and fresh as ever as if it was recorded way back then, and that's what counts the most. It's already a rock'n'roll classic.Thank you for bringing back real rock'n'roll into the world, Chuck.

If you ever had a doubt of this mans utter testicular fortitude in music just remember that GOD himself loved, imitated, covered and worshiped this man, Our LORD Lemmy is second only to Chuck.
