Midaspl, RB have long stopped bringing real updates to the cars. The last one were some 3D printed stick-on floor fins developed within a weeks time haha! It's mostly good circuits, and fresher engine components vs the Mercs and Ferraris.
The last few laps I was hoping he could get a podium, but sadly he didn't get it. Still, great perf from our beloved Ricciardo.

Kimi has been having a really good race pace this late season, especially if we compare it to the 2014-2017 seasons, where he was off pace compared to his teammates most of the time. It also looks like Vettel has been in 2014 mode after he lost the title hopes.
Ferrari is shit anyways. It’s Red Bull or Mercedes whos gonna win title next year.

People act like ocon was in 2nd. In which case max was partly at fault. But ocon is lapped. Come on people, I want to see your reactions when a lapped car crashes into a leading vettel, or a leading kimi.
Ocon at that time had the tyres, had the race pace, was competitive with Vettel, and - what most people don't seem to comprehend - he was _not_ under a blue flag and was legitimately entitled to attempt to unlap himself under the regulations. If Max's arrogance and sense of entitlement led to his assuming that Ocon would cede, then that was his error. Any competent driver should have been aware that Ocon had track position on the inside, and that turning into him as Vestappen did could only lead to either Ocon being forced off the track, or the cars colliding, as indeed they did. I would also invite anyone who feels this was entirely Ocon's fault to view Verstappen's overtaking manoeuvre on Vettel in lap 4... it was a replica of the Ocon incident, only this time Max was the aggressive driver taking the inside position. Indeed the only difference was that even Vettel is not as impulsive as Mad Max, so he ceded rather than turn into Max and crash.

Great drive from Max, but Lewis 2021 Brazil came from much further back, starting in last in the sprint. It's a shame there was essentially the identical collision with Max and Lewis in 2022 as with Max and Ocon 2018; ruined both races.

@121bham Ocon tried to "unlap" himself, he has the right to.
However, there is a slight catch : if you have to unlap yourself, it means the car in front has been much much faster than you all race long, so maybe Ocon felt he was quicker momentarily but he would have to be delusional to think he could maintain this position. The only reason Ocon would do so is to try to slow down Verstappen by overtaking him because he feels like a mercedes driver.
Also, although you have the right to unlap yourself, the rules of overtaking don't change : Verstappen was in front at the apex, it was his corner and he had the right to take the best line, Ocon should have accounted for that.
Finally, Ocon not apologising after planting his car in the race leader shows how much of a little bitch he is (I don't criticise his talent, but for someone who has never had a podium, he sure feels like "the real shit")
Ocon was outside and more than 1m behind max at the turn 1... all faults for him, he cannot overtake in that situation

It is called a race for a reason. Verstappen was in front. Sure. Did he pass? No. His corner? So to you that means he owns the track? Everyone else has to yield? No comment on that.

It's partly because the RB is typically very grippy. So they can brake late and still make the corner.

He's a brilliant driver and he never gets a break. Even after Hamilton gets the championship FIA helps Mercedes. He had issues for sure. A driver of his statue doens't get P6 in a Ferrari.

2014, 2015 and 2016 were very easy with those cars, in 2017 the car still had a small advantage and was suitable to more tracks, in 2018 the even smaller advantage that Ferrari had has gone (thanks to mistakes too), the car still doesn't drive itself and doesn't have a level 6 of autonomous driving, but still.

Just gonna put it out there to have the opposite view: Ocon was coming quickly, he could unlap himself, and was almost doing it. Sure, Max edged ahead again, and Esteban should've probably back off, but Max gave him nowhere to go. Max didn't need to shut the door on him. He could've gotten him back easily.
I say it was silly from both of them, and this day and age that sort of violent response belongs nowhere.
