I have been listening to Dr Jayanthi for quite a while. This particular concert is probably one of the BEST ever by any artist! Just heart soothing Raga/Krithi selection from top to bottom!
Ps I have had the privilege of meeting her in person!

I have listened to the Ragam Tanam Pallavi in Brindavani a few times. I cannot express the joy I felt when I recognized "poojisalende hoogala tande" and "tereyo bagilanu, Rama", old Kannada songs in the same raga as soon as the first few notes were played. And the Ragamalika Tanam is such a joy to listen to. I especially loved the Saveri and Vasanthi

The whole concert was great. RTP in brindavana, thanamalikai was Mesmerising and magical.
Always I feel why you don't tell the Pallavi lines!! It would be great if you reveal. Excellent accompanists too. Heavenly music.

A family that lived in the corner that was the intersection of the Kizhakku and Chittirai streets at Srirangam. This house was hence known as moolaiveedu.
Rangasvami nattuvanar was the son of Parimala Nattuvanar. His compositions include : Chalamela (Nattakuranji), Palinchu sarvani (Kambhoji) and Yarummai Pola (Atana). He would do the nattuvangam following his familial tradition in only the Srirangam temple, not do nattuvangam in other places."
